Vespa Primavera Touring – Vespa Primavera is enriched with one new Touring special series with accessories and aesthetic details inspired by the vocation for travel that Vespa has always embodied in its very long history. The new model is enriched by a front rack and a rear rack, both chrome-plated, which considerably increase the load capacity. Also part of the Touring set-up are the brown saddle combined with the new Silk Gray color, the elegant fairing and a dedicated plate. The Vespa Primavera Touring Series is available in the entire range of Primavera engines, namely: 50 2T, 50 4T 4V, 125 4T 3V and 150 4T 3V.

La Vespa Primavera Touring is proposed as an important point of evolution in the history of Vespa. During the design phase, every solution was considered to the increase in the level of comfort, safety and driving pleasure compared to previous generations. The Piaggio Style Center has carried out significant work on the surfaces and sections of the bodywork, creating bold signs which, without betraying the softness of lines that every Vespa must have, manage to give it a completely new and modern dynamism. Vespa Primavera thus inherits the refined elegance of the Vespa 946 while maintaining its formal spirit unchanged. The central part, with its characteristic omega shape, improves the driving position and gives the most modern Vespa an evident stylistic sign, taken from the historic models. The tail becomes pointed and elongated again, just like that of the first prototype which, thanks to its resemblance to the insect, inspired the name Vespa. The elongated rear light helps to further streamline the line of the body, which is completely new while maintaining faith in a unique construction philosophy and is made up of welded pressed sheet metal parts. The new positioning of the battery (now in the central spar of the footrest) has made it possible to increase the capacity of the under-seat compartment up to 16,6 liters (it was 14,3 in the previous Vespa generation), further facilitating accessibility to the engine for maintenance operations (just lift the helmet compartment).

La flat saddle and two-seater, in the wake of the Vespa tradition, it is now more comfortable and habitable, with double stitching, while the back is surrounded by the passenger handle, created in the traditional chrome tube. Even the colors in which the Primavera Touring is offered (MonteBianco, Blue Midnight, Red Dragon, Brown Crete Senesi, Black Vulcano) are consistently taken from the Vespa memory and play with the two exclusive saddle colors to create new and refined color combinations that embellish the new Spring. The design of the 11" alloy wheels is completely new and, while respecting the number of five spokes, reinterprets a classic Vespa element.

La Vespa Primavera Touring, in the versions 125 and 150cc, is pushed by a engine with three valve distribution, which guarantees excellent performance and minimum levels of consumption and emissions. The heart of the Vespa Primavera 125/150cc is an air-cooled 4-stroke single-cylinder engine, with single overhead camshaft distribution, 3 valves (2 intake and 1 exhaust) and electronic injection fuel, designed and built in the Pontedera factories , with the purpose of increase performance and reduce fuel consumption and polluting emissions. Fuel consumption is thus decidedly low (up to 64 km/l at 50 km/h) and the long maintenance intervals (services are scheduled every 10.000 km) allow for rather low running costs. There Vespa Primavera Touring is also available with the ABS braking system on the 125 and 150 versions, the so-called "small body". The front wheel of Vespa Primavera ABS is equipped with a speed detection system - a sensor and a tone wheel - which instantly measures its speed and deceleration compared to that of the vehicle. The sensor communicates with an electro-hydraulic control unit which activates the ABS system if the wheel decelerates abruptly, avoiding locking and therefore loss of control of the vehicle, thus guaranteeing stability and efficient braking even on surfaces with a low friction coefficient.
