Vespa Primavera: 50 years to celebrate with three new versions

Vespa Primavera – Fifty years and not hearing them. Vespa Primavera, in fact, crosses the prestigious milestone of half a century and does so with three new versions that incorporate all the values ​​that made it successful. Young, innovative, technologically cutting-edge, agile and dynamic, attentive to protecting the environment, Vespa Primavera is the protagonist of its time, inheriting all the freshness and joy of life of its progenitor.

For 2018 Vespa Primavera gets even better with a series of updates that increase its comfort, safety and renew its style. The most important news comes from the size of wheel rims: made of aluminum alloy and characterized by a new design five-spoke, now I'm both 12" thus reaching the largest diameter in the history of Vespa. The result is more stability, more safety, greater grip on all surfaces and in all road conditions. Active safety also grows thanks to technology LED lighting now adopted by both the front light and the rear lights. They become standard Bike Finder and remote opening control of the saddle. Vespa Primavera benefits from further interventions that renew its line, thus distinguishing it from previous versions. In fact, the typical "tie" that characterizes the front and the chrome crest on the front mudguard are new. The new Vespa Primavera is available in displacements of 50 cc, 125 and 150, latest generation engines a four times with high performance and low fuel consumption.

Vespa S it is a new version of the most loved Vespa that adds grit and sportiness to the classic Primavera. In addition to all the new features that enrich the range, it adopts totally digital instrumentation thanks to a 4,3" full color TFT display. It is a true revolution for Vespa which, for the first time in its history, boasts a completely digital and color dashboard. The instrument, in addition to displaying all the classic information, such as speed, total and partial mileage, ambient temperature, fuel level, functions as a display for the VMP (Vespa Multimedia Platform) in its most recent release. VMP is the App that adds a series of functions to the Vespa control panel for processing and managing an incredible amount of information for the driver regarding both the status of the vehicle and the route taken. The system also allows you to answer phone calls using the buttons on the handlebar and use the smartphone's voice commands to make calls or play music by activating a playlist. The dedicated color range includes for Vespa Primavera S three brand new matte colors: Deep Red, Sahara Beige, Harmony Blue. Vespa Primavera Touring is inspired by the vocation for travel that Vespa has always embodied in its very long history thanks to a special set-up. The version Touring it accommodates all the modifications and updates of the Vespa Primavera starting from the double 12" wheel and is enriched by a front luggage rack and a rear luggage rack, both chromed which, as demonstrated in the most classic Vespa iconography, considerably increase the load capacity and prepare the most loved scooter in the world for any adventurous journey. The dedicated saddle and the elegant fairing are also part of the Touring set-up.

new Vespa Primavera, Primavera S. e Spring Touring they are powered by a modern single-cylinder four-stroke engine of 125 and 150 cc, air-cooled and equipped with electronic injection and 3-valve distribution. Every detail, from the exhaust to the internal design of the transmission cover, has been designed to make the ride smooth, silent and comfortable. There unit has barometric sensor, which guarantees always optimal combustion in any condition and altitude of use. The power and torque delivery thus reaches new and high levels of regularity and reliability, even in urban driving characterized by continuous "stop and go". They are engines that are absolutely respectful of the environment and capable of performances that are at the top of the category: the i-get 125 cc engine expresses one power and pair maximum power of 11 HP at 7.700 rpm and 10,4 Nm at 6.000 rpm respectively, while the 150 cc version reaches 13 HP at 7.750 rpm of maximum power and 12,8 Nm of torque at 6.500 rpm maximum, values ​​which, combined with the proverbial lightness typical of all Vespas, make the "small body" Vespas particularly lively both in metropolitan traffic conditions and on stretches of open road. Such brilliant performances are combined with fuel consumption values ​​reduced to a minimum: the particular architecture of the engine and the solutions adopted for the various components allow it to reach 43,2 km/l for the 125 and 40,3 km/l for the 150 detected in the WMTC cycle. Thanks to the large 8-litre tank, the Vespa Primavera now boasts a very respectable driving range: with a full tank of fuel you can travel 364 km with the 125 cc version and 328 km with the 150 cc version.

As always in the history of Vespa, the new Primavera also offers a wide range of accessories for vehicle customization and greater driving comfort. The top case dedicated to Primavera is completely painted in the same color as the vehicle and enriched by the famous chrome Vespa logo in relief and can contain a full-face helmet. The top case can be completed with a backrest, covered with the same material as the saddle. The chrome support for mounting the top case can also be used as a luggage rack. Maximum protection is guaranteed by the windshield made of high quality anti-splinter methacrylate, and personalized with the Vespa logo, the support rods are made with a light finish in line with the other aesthetic details.
Vespa Primavera can also be equipped with a windshield - available in both transparent and smoked material - which elegantly completes the design of the vehicle. The chromed front and rear luggage racks are at the same time one of the most classic accessories of every Vespa and testimony to the great traveler spirit that every Vespa has always possessed. The new Vespa Primavera is no exception. The chrome front, rear and fender perimeter guards elegantly finish the vehicle while protecting its bodywork.
The accessories line also includes the internal bag for the top box, the comfortable side stand - made of black painted steel - which makes parking the Primavera easier and the outdoor vehicle cover, the indoor "big logo" one, both equipped with convenient openings to accommodate the dimensions of any accessories, and the non-slip rubber mat. For Vespa Primavera, the electronic anti-theft device and the mechanical saddle-handlebar anti-theft device are available, as well as a line of other customized mechanical anti-theft devices. The mittens and the leg cover are essential, practical and quick to assemble, which offer excellent protection from atmospheric agents thanks to the use of thermal material. The Vespa Primavera cover is characterized by the metal Vespa logo and guarantees maximum stability even at high speeds. The seat cover and the anti-theft device are integrated into the accessory. To embellish the Vespa Primavera is the trunk bag in natural or black leather, made entirely by hand.
