Four versions and two engines

The range Vespa GTS it evolves further both from an aesthetic point of view, while always remaining recognizable and elegant as per tradition; both from a technical and technological point of view with various innovations in favor of safety, handling and comfort. Each of the four set-ups planned for 2023 it is distinguishable for attitude and style, starting from the classic Vespa GTS, continuing with the Vespa GTS Super, therefore still with the sportiest Vespa GTS and finally with technology Vespa GTS SuperTech.
Each variant is equipped with a compact single-cylinder engine 125 i-get or with a more performing one 300hp (High Performance Engine).

Refined and evocative design

Il Style Center of the Piaggio Group has worked again on the iconic style that has distinguished every Vespa example for generations; in the case of the Vespa GTS, elegance has once again been underlined. A new result that balances experience, tradition and contemporary research, observing the fluid features and refined details of the new range with an overall vision that is further enhanced.
The associated colors that characterize each of the four types stand out. The classic elegance of Vespa GTS is coated in Enveloping Beige, Black Convinced o Lovely Green, a series of metallic shades that reference the very essence of Vespa. The colors are associated with chrome that covers the friezes of the characteristic "tie", the profiles of the body, the headlight frame, the front suspension spring and the silencer cover. The gray color is also the protagonist, observing not only the knobs and rubber inserts on the footrests, but also the saddle with vertical heat sealing and tone-on-tone stitching and finally the wheel rims.

The variant Vespa GTS Super it conveys a more marked sportiness, in the wake of a tradition that continues from the Vespa GS 150 of 1955, followed by the Vespa 180 SS of 1965 and the T5 “Pole Position” of 1985. The model is combined with three pastel shades: Strong Black, Innocent White e Brave Red. Along with the chrome there are also some black details, such as the knobs, the rubber inserts on the footrests and the front suspension spring. The seat is characterized by a double covering with piping and the circles are in graphite color with a diamond finish.

The sportsmanship is further highlighted by observing above all the Vespa GTS, another variant within the range. The model is available in five colors which are combined with new specific graphics. You can choose between glossy shades Impulsive Orange e Innocent White or matte shades Overwhelming Grey, Black Convinced e Ambitious Green.
There are several black details such as the profile along the perimeter of the body, furthermore the characteristic "tie" on the shield is embellished with a carbon look finish and enhanced by fluorescent orange friezes. The saddle is black with horizontal heat sealing and a contrasting double stitching also in fluorescent orange. The rims are in graphite color with peculiar graphics.

At the top of the range, then, there is the Vespa GTS SuperTech. A combination of bold style and technology. Unlike the other specimens, it is equipped with a TFT color display intended for instrumentation. From an aesthetic point of view, we note the satin chrome gray finishes and the matte liveries are associated with this model Optimistic Grey, Energetic Blue e Enthusiastic Gray with dedicated graphics and enlivened by the presence of the "tie" decorations and the front shock absorber spring painted in fluorescent green. Tone that returns by fixing the two-tone stitching associated with the double-covered saddle. The wheel rims are coated in graphite color with diamond finish.
Focusing attention on the design of the range, the front area features lateral luminous details that act as daytime running lights and the directional indicators are now equipped with LED technology and integrated into the shield without visible fixings. The peculiar "tie" also changes, characterized by more compact friezes, as well as interventions on the side grilles of the shield and on the more tapered front mudguard. The perimeter of the body is equipped with a metal profile in different finishes according to the selected version, as mentioned.

Un full LED circular headlight is embraced by a wider handlebar with the brake levers repositioned, so the commands have been grouped into two chromed electrical blocks, which recall the handlebar gearbox linked to the history of Vespa. Also new are the rear-view mirrors and grips with smaller terminals. Moving on to the rear shield, the keyless system knob takes the place of the ignition switch and the black band of the dashboard is now connected into a single element, which integrates the bag hook. The keyless solution allows you to start the vehicle without having to insert the key, also facilitating other operations such as opening the saddle and inserting the steering lock, leaving the remote control in your pocket. To turn on the Vespa GTS versions, simply operate the control and bring it to the ON position. The engine can always be started using the button located on the right control block.
Unlike a single color TFT display found on the SuperTech version, all other versions feature one new instrumentation which always allows interaction with the connectivity system MY VESPA, present as standard on SuperSport and SuperTech or offered as an accessory on the other two versions.

The instrumentation is characterized by an upper analogue speedometer with a refined and evocative design, under which there is a 3-inch LCD display where various information can be read in addition to notifications, in case of a connection with the smartphone via VESPA MIA with the 'associated Vespa App.
On the Vespa GTS SuperTech model, the TFT display can also act as a navigation tool, after having set a route on the Vespa App, through pictogram indications.

The rear light cluster has also been redefined, the LED directional indicators have been resized and the position light defines a more squared profile. Also highlighted were some interventions on the side panels under the bodies, now joined at the end to obtain a characteristic dynamic effect. Each model, with each of the engines indicated, features a new design of the exhaust silencer cover.
The five-spoke design of the wheel rims has also been revised with solids and voids that refine the style.
There is also a varied range of accessories that can be combined with each vehicle to accentuate its qualities and functionality, such as a 36-litre top box which can contain a full-face helmet or two jet helmets and is painted in the same color as the bodywork and equipped with a padded backrest.
The options also include heated Comfort+ grips and saddle, a leg cover in thermal material, or, for those who want to accentuate the sportiness of the vehicle, a single-seater sports saddle and a carbon and steel sports exhaust. Among the available accessories there is also a windshield, fairing, perimeter kit and front mudguard protection, or for those who have loading needs, the front and rear luggage racks or a Vespa-branded leather bag as an alternative to the aforementioned top case.
The various Vespa-branded accessories and style complements are offered on the web by consulting the Vespa Store space, which also includes a refined range of clothing and objects.

The new attitude towards tourism Vespa GTS is underlined by the new session placed at 790 millimeters height, which according to the information conveys a high level of comfort. The ergonomics make it easier to put the feet on the ground and the passenger benefits from a more hospitable seat. Among the interesting aspects, inside the drawer in the rear shield there is a USB port for charging devices and the underseat compartment can accommodate two Vespa Visor 3.0 jet helmets. In the SuperTech version the compartment also features a mat and a courtesy light.
As always, the body is made of steel, a robust material that supports the dynamism and handling of the vehicle in city or extra-urban traffic, also considering the presence of generously sized tires (Tubeless 120/70 and 130/70) connected to the you look for from 12 inches.
The front suspension, while confirming a single-arm layout, has been revised in operation to accentuate stability, particularly at higher speeds. An aspect that has allowed us to adopt a different calibration of the suspension, also functional for comfort and practicality.

The 125 i-get electronic injection engine features four-valve distribution and liquid cooling. The units in the i-get overview are also equipped with a Start & Stop system patented by Piaggio and named REISS (Regulator Inverter Start & Stop System), which involves the elimination of the classic starter motor to make room for a "direct mount" brushless electric machine, located on the crankshaft. The advanced 300 cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid-cooled and electronic injection engine is the result of the experience gained by the Piaggio Group's research and development centre. A 300 hpe engine (High Performance Engine) with various interventions that allow high performance and refine its driveability, also containing noise and consumption, as highlighted on this occasion.
This is the most powerful engine present on a Vespa example, controlled by a unit the latest generation Magneti Marelli MIUG4 and which is associated with a transmission with automatic CVT speed variator.
