Vespa Gts is the motorcycle of the year according to the Germans

Vespa is certainly one of the symbols of Italian style and technology and, according to over 47 thousand readers of the authoritative monthly Motorrad, it is the "Motorcycle of the Year" in the scooter category. One of the symbols of the beautiful country 'beat' the hosts, such as: BMW CEvolution, BMW C 650 as well as the Japanese Yamaha T-Max DX.

In addition to 'the certificate', Vespa is celebrating one of the happiest moments in its history. In 2018, sales grew by 16% compared to the record numbers achieved in 2017, exceeding the extraordinary figure of 210 thousand units. And in the last ten years, over 1,6 million new Vespas have been produced and sold all over the world.

For 2019 the entire Vespa GTS family improves performance, comfort and style. Thanks, above all, to the new 300 hpe engine, more advanced and efficient in terms of reducing emissions and consumption. With over 23 HP, it is the most powerful engine ever used on a Vespa. The headlights have also been revised, now adopting full LED lighting technology, the front features a redesigned shield. Also new are the handlebar cover with a different style, the chrome crest on the front mudguard, the rear-view mirrors and the grilles on the sides of the shield.
Large, comfortable and powerful, the new Vespa GTS underlines the strong touring vocation that large Vespas have always embodied by offering a new saddle capable of guaranteeing better comfort for rider and passenger.
The VESPA MIA connectivity system allows you to connect your smartphone to the Vespa GTS on-board electronic system via Bluetooth, offering exclusive features for an even more satisfying and fun driving experience. All notifications relating to incoming calls and messages appear on the TFT display. The system also allows you to manage phone calls through the practical joystick on the left control block and to use the smartphone's voice commands to make calls or play music, activating a playlist.
