Vespa – The new and ultra-modern Piaggio i-Get engine equips the younger versions of the Vespa. Optimized performance, lower management costs, maximum silence and efficiency. Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint also boast richer trim levels and ABS as standard.

The new versions of Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint make their debut, the heirs of the legendary “Vespino”. They stand out for the richer set-up which includes the very useful USB socket, located inside the drawer in the shield, and the ABS braking system now standard on all 125 and 150cc versions. The most important innovation is the adoption of the new Piaggio i-Get Euro4 engine capable of ensuring brilliant performance, low fuel consumption and general high efficiency.

The new engines are the result of a design philosophy that sets new and more advanced levels of quality and reliability as its primary objectives.. Every aspect of the design was aimed at increasing the efficiency of each individual component, thus contributing to maximizing performance and at the same time minimizing consumption and emissions (not only pollutants but also noise). Over a million kilometers traveled in the testing phase testify to the attention to quality and reliability in the development process of the new i-Get engines which, thanks to the modularity of the project, can be available in versions with liquid or air cooling and with 3 or 4 valve distribution.

The new i-Get engines that equip the Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint are ultra-modern 4-stroke single-cylinder engines of 125 and 150 cc, air-cooled and equipped with electronic injection and 3-valve distribution. Every detail, from the exhaust to the internal design of the transmission cover, has been designed to make the ride smooth, silent and comfortable. They are absolutely environmentally friendly engines, being approved according to the Euro4 Multidirective and capable of performances that are at the top of the category: the 125 cc i-Get engine expresses a maximum power and torque of 7,9 kW at 7.700 rpm and 10,4 Nm at 6.000 rpm respectively, while the 150 cc version reaches 9,5 kW at 7.750 rpm /min of maximum power and 12,8 Nm at 6.500 rpm of maximum torque, values which, combined with the proverbial lightness typical of all Vespas, make the "small body" Vespas particularly lively both in metropolitan traffic conditions and on of free road. An improved calibration of the transmission also contributes to this result, making use of new and more resistant friction materials for the automatic dry centrifugal clutch. Such brilliant performance is combined with fuel consumption values reduced to a minimum.

The new Primavera also offers a wide range of accessories for vehicle customization and greater driving comfort. The top case dedicated to Primavera is completely painted in the same color as the vehicle and enriched by the famous chrome Vespa logo in relief and can contain a full-face helmet. The top case is also available with a backrest. The chrome top case mounting bracket can also be used as a luggage rack. Vespa Primavera ABS with the new i-Get engine is already on sale at 4.270 euros for the 125cc version and 4.470 euros for the 150cc. Vespa Sprint ABS 125 with i-Get engine costs 4.470 Euros while the price of the Sprint 150 ABS – i-Get is 4.770 Euros (Prices fc and inclusive of VAT).
