Vespa 75th: a special series for the 75th anniversary [PHOTO]

An icon from afar 23th April of the 1946, date on which the patent was filed. With a new special series Wasp 75th, made for Vespa Primavera in the 50, 125 and 150 cc engines e Vespa GTS 125 and 300 cc, one of the most famous two-wheeled models in the world is remembered. A series available since March and only offered in 2021.

The celebratory version

Also highlighted on the Vespa.com web pages and on Vespa's social channels, the uniqueness of this celebratory series is underlined by a Welcome Kit linked to each 75th example which includes a Made in Italy scarf in 100% silk with jacquard workmanship and hand-sewn edges, dedicated Owner's Book, eight collector's postcards which summarize the decades of Vespa through images and a vintage Vespa steel plaque.

Like every special edition, there is a dedicated plate on the back of the shield and in the equipment of the Wasp 75th, with a displacement of over 50 cc, there is also instrumentation TFT in color from 4,3 inches. A digital instrument panel that allows the use of a solution Vespa MIAby pairing the smartphone with the vehicle.

The body is made of steel as per tradition and covered in a new metallic colour Yellow 75th, designed for this special series which reinterprets aesthetic choices in vogue in the 1940s. A synthesis of tradition, style and aesthetic innovation. A number 75 distinguishable by a more marked tone on the sides and on the front mudguard, giving shape to a refined combination of shades, just as the traditional "tie" stands out from the front with a matte pyrite yellow finish.

Also highlighted are various chrome details including the friezes of the aforementioned tie, the instrument panel frame, the rear-view mirrors, the crest of the front mudguard, the rear luggage rack, the silencer cover and, only on Vespa GTS, the extractable footrests for the passenger .

The rear luggage rack is associated with a round bag that resembles a container for the spare wheel. A bag developed in soft nubuck in the same color as the saddle, also made in smoky gray nubuck with piping. The bag, complete with waterproof cover, is equipped with a shoulder strap to facilitate use and transport and is fixed to the luggage rack with a quick release system. The picture is completed by gray-coated wheel rims with diamond edges.
