The trend of the market for electric two-wheeled vehicles remains growing in the first half of 2019 2021. After what was recorded in 2020, recalling a figure of +84,5%, in the first six months of the year it was +54,7%. Percentage indicated in a press release issued by Confindustria ANCMA (National Association of Cycle Motorcycle Accessories).

The market progress for pedal-assisted bicycles is also good. The growth noted in 2020 with an overall +44% compared to 2019 continues to be so. The estimates of ANCMA report a further increase in the period considered of at least 12%, corresponding to approximately 157.000 e-bike sold in the first half of 2021.
Also highlighted is the electric quadricycle market which, in consideration of the orders and the entry of some new companies, has quintupled the results from just over 200 vehicles registered to over 1.200, as indicated.
Moving on to mopeds, scooter e motorcycle, the most interesting increase in percentage terms in the period January-June 2021 was noted in the motorcycle market (+174,3%), just as the data linked to scooters was equally significant with a +63%, while for mopeds -4,4% was recorded, linked in particular to the reduction in fleet orders for mobility sharing and services.
However, the growing trend of motorbikes and scooters is significant, also given the market made up mainly of private individuals, which suggests Italians' interest in electric-powered models.
