A special freight train will bring home thousands of motorcycles

A freight train carrying around 200 motorcycles left Foshan in southern China's Guangdong province for the nearby Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. This was reported by Chinanews.com. This is the first special train in the country dedicated to motorcycles, especially belonging to the migrant workers working in Guangdong who are returning to their hometown in Guangxi for the Spring Festival.

Every year, more than half a million migrant workers from the Pearl River Delta, an economic hub in southern China, return home on motorbikes to neighboring provinces and regions for the Spring Festival. The motorbike allows migrants to contain travel costs and avoid long journeys, which are uncomfortable and full of dangers. To ensure a safe journey for motorcyclists, this special train dedicated to the two motorcycle routes was organized by Guangzhou Railway Group. But to grab a seat on this special high-speed train you will have to hurry. In fact, the sale will take place from January 31st to February 5th, and the frequency will be one train per day. These convoys will bring home as many as 3.600 migrant workers. Trips for both the motorbikes and their owners are financed by various companies and the Guangxi government.
