A new look for Suzuki Gladius

Discover the 2013 version of Suzuki's naked twin-cylinder

The naked twin-cylinder from Suzuki is preparing to face spring with a new look characterized by new colors with a strong appeal that emphasize the sharp profile evoked by the name, to meet the most demanding tastes.
sought after by those who love to stand out with a personal style.

Suzuki Gladius it is equipped with a 645 cm3 engine, an injection DOHC 90° V-Twin derived from the SV650 engine, which has proven to be widely reliable with a linear and progressive accelerator response and a power and torque range at the top of the category. A true jewel with low consumption thanks to the Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) system with double butterfly and the 10-hole injectors for optimal fuel atomization.

The cylinders are made with Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Materials (SCEM) treatment, a race-tested technology that has proven to be extremely effective in reducing friction and improving heat transfer, as well as increasing the resistance and sealing of the piston rings.

Idle speed management is entrusted to the automatic control system (ISC – Automatic Idle Speed Control) integrated in each throttle body which improves cold starts and reduces emissions immediately after starting.

The Gladius is equipped with a steel trellis frame that integrates perfectly with the overall design, making the bike slim and agile.

The two-tone saddle with ample padding instead ensures the right comfort for the rider and the reinforced edges support the hips, improving comfort on long journeys, while its reduced height from the ground, 785 mm, makes the bike
also appealing to people of medium height.

As for the braking system, Hamamatsu's naked bike features 290 mm floating discs and double-piston calipers on the front and a 240 mm disc and single-piston caliper on the rear, which combined with the adjustable suspension
and the performance guaranteed by the Dunlop Qualifier sports radial tyres, always ensure fun driving in complete safety. The wheels, on the other hand, are 17-inch 5-spoke die-cast aluminum alloy.

Finally, behind the multi-reflector front headlight there is a rich analogue-digital instrumentation, which also has a gear indicator.

Three proposals: two two-tone, metallic gray combined with black, on which the red frame stands out, and blue combined with ice white, which shows off blue wheels, as well as a total black mat limited edition at 6.490 Euros which offers a further
advantage for the customer: the choice between the Yoshimura exhaust pipe and the braking system equipped with ABS.

The offer is valid until the end of June and while stocks last.
