UM Motorcycles: all the news presented at EICMA 2019

The American company brought some interesting news to EICMA 2019 that we will see from next season, above all the launch of the new Renegade Sport 125 10 HP, but there is no shortage of graphics and performance updates on several other models.

Renegade Sport 125 10 HP

With a retro style, the Renegade Sport 125 10 HP aims to appeal to young people, bringing the myth of the American dream back into vogue. The motorcycle is equipped with an air-cooled 4-valve engine with chain drive and 5-speed gearbox. It is a 4cc Euro 125 with a 9.2:1 compression ratio, capable of delivering 9,6 HP at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 9.2 Nm at 5500 rpm. At the front there is a telescopic fork, while at the rear there is a double shock absorber. The weight is 145 kg. It will be on sale from 2020 at a price yet to be defined. The colors available are: black – green – brown.

Renegade Scrambler Classic 125cc

The Renegade Scrambler Classic 125 cc gets a new look, with several updates arriving next season for the queen of the UM house. The motorcycle is equipped with a 124,2 cc liquid-cooled engine with a maximum power of 15 HP at 10.500 rpm and 10,9 Nm of torque at 8.250 rpm. The front suspension is hydraulic with a telescopic fork while on the rear there is a single hydraulic shock absorber with adjustable preload. And for 2020 the flat track-inspired bike will be available in the new graphics and new colours, black and military green. The retail price is 3.590 euros.

Renegade Commando and Commando Classic 300

This is not an absolute novelty, but for the first time the first UM Motorcycles bikes with a displacement greater than 125 cc are landing in Italy. These are the Renegade Commando and Commando Classic 300 equipped with a powerful and flexible liquid-cooled 4 cc 300-valve engine (Euro IV). They were presented at EICMA in different colors. Both have a chain transmission and a six-speed gearbox, all supported by a suspension with a telescopic hydraulic fork and a double hydraulic shock absorber with preload adjustment at the rear. The braking system is equipped with ABS. The retail price is to be defined. The Renegade Sport S will also have a 300 cc version called VEGAS with refined finishes and black and red colors.
