Tucano Urbano Tucanorak: a rain jacket for those traveling on two wheels

Thinking of those who continue to travel on two wheels even in winter, Tucanorak it is the first rain jacket Tucano Urbano made for TERMOSCUD®. This is an item of clothing for scooter riders autumn-winter 2021-2022 collection.

The jacket

Tucanorak it was developed with a long cut in the rear area, to wrap the hips and pelvis and protect them from splashes of water. It is made with the registered system HYDROSCUD®, in a lightweight, breathable and waterproof nylon with a high water column. They indicate each other 10.000 mm, with a breathability index equal to 5000 gr/m24/XNUMXh.

It features taped seams, including those at the neck and up to this reaches the water trap, defined along the central zip. This boss also passed the RAIN TOWER TEST – EN 14360:2004, meeting the requirements for rain protective fabrics compliant with EN 343:2019. It is therefore a 1st category personal protective device.
Other listed features include: an emergency hood folded into the neck; the wrists are adjustable with Velcro and elastic; it is shaped by an elastic waist and the lining is in mesh.

The name Tucanorak recalls the anorak, the sporty windbreaker with a large front pocket. The Tucao Urbano creation is innovative for its design based on TERMOSCUD®: the large front pocket has been designed to house the bib of this solution, defining a rain barrier between the rider's body and the leg cover itself, so that the water flows on the TERMOSCUD®, without infiltrating between the leg cover bib and the rain cover.
Three simple steps are enough to block the rain, as explained: you need to lift the right flap of the front pocket; then put the TERMOSCUD® bib under the pocket; then the flap of the bib must be closed.
