Tucano Urbano presents the new one fall-winter 2020/21 collection. Solutions designed for scooter riders and motorcyclists who travel on two wheels even when temperatures drop or who face possible downpours of rain. Solutions designed to protect and promote comfort.

Repairs Pro

If we talk about vehicles, this season's novelties include motorbike/scooter covers Repairs Pro, developed with a new technology that protects against downpours. It features an external waterproof membrane that lets rain slide away and externally taped seams. Other functional aspects include: a jersey lining to prevent scratches, anti-theft buttonholes and elastic inserts on the wheels, and a rear panel that can be personalized with the vehicle's license plate. Under the platform and the unloading area there is an anti-sweat passing belt made of a fabric resistant up to 150°, to avoid any burns. A colored ribbon identifies the front and the cover can be stored in a space-saving package, as indicated. Four models of Ripari Pro are indicated: 216PRO (€49,90) for scooters, 218PRO (€59,90) for scooters with top case and windscreen, 220PRO (€69,90) for street motorbikes and maxi scooters as well as 222PRO ( €79,90) for travel enduro motorbikes and developed with bellows to also cover top case and bags.

Clothing and accessories

The new laminated eco-duvet Hifive (€219,00), CE motorcycle certified in Class A according to the EN17092 directive, was made without quilting the seams but with a peculiar five-layer construction. The first layer features a high-tenacity Taslan nylon outer fabric with WR treatment associated with the second layer consisting of a breathable membrane with a high water column. Then there are a third and fourth layer composed of two nets woven together forming the chambers intended for padding. In the last and fifth layer, towards the inside, a second waterproof and breathable membrane is located for the waterproofing thermo-taping of the seams that bind the constituent panels, as indicated.

Another boss is Gulliver 2G (€269,00), another CE certified motorcycle garment according to the EN17092 directive, developed with a HYDROSCUD® construction that diversifies the fabrics based on the required need. Specifically: the bust and sleeves are made of high-tenacity Oxford nylon, offering resistance, while the sides and inner sleeves are made of soft, high-tenacity Taslan nylon, favoring wearability. The fabrics are laminated to a breathable, windproof and waterproof internal membrane. The taped seams ensure that the entire external structure of the jacket is 100 percent waterproof and breathable. To be able to use this garment even in less cold periods, we highlight solutions such as a ventilation system on the sides, an internal duvet padded with detachable thermal wadding that can be used separately, and then a double external anti-freeze collar, also removable.

The glove was also reported Taaac (€79,90), CE motorbike certified, which conceals a pocket in the left cuff accessible via a WR zip, where you can store a remote control or the motorway toll payment system. A glove developed with a soft goatskin palm lined in microfibre for maximum sensitivity on commands and a soft shell back with ecofur lining for warmth. It features a 100 percent waterproof and breathable membrane and approved soft CPS protection on the knuckles, as well as a two-layer visor insert to clean the visor and bend the thumb comfortably. It turns out touch screen.

In the collection, linked to the line of heating accessories, also a new neck warmer Neckwarm (€49,90) made of fleece with a heating system in the cervical area and powered by common power banks not supplied, as indicated. The heating duration varies according to the battery power (approx. 2h with 5000mAh). The On/Off button is located on the collar, present so as to be visible in the rear-view mirror, according to the indications.
