Tucano Urbano: jackets for motorcyclists who continue to travel even in winter [PHOTO]

Thinking about the use of two wheels during the colder seasons, Tucano Urbano highlights three jackets for those who want to continue traveling even in winter riding their scooter or motorbike: Gulliver 2G, Hifive e Twin.

Tucano Urbano Gulliver 2G

Aimed at extra-urban commuters and those traveling on long journeys, the jacket Gulliver 2G (269,00 euros) CE motorbike certified according to the EN17092 directive and developed using a waterproof and breathable HYDROSCUD® construction that differentiates the fabrics based on the type of need. Specifically, the torso and sleeves are made of high-tenacity Oxford nylon for functional abrasion resistance, while the sides and inside sleeves are made of soft, high-tenacity Taslan nylon, considering lightness and wearability. The fabrics are laminated to a breathable, windproof and waterproof internal membrane. The taped seams allow the external structure of the jacket to be entirely waterproof and breathable. So that it can also be used in less cold seasons, "three measures" are included: an internal padded duvet made of thermal wadding, detachable and usable separately, a ventilation system on the sides and a double external anti-freeze collar which is also removable.

Hisive Urban Toucan

The boss Hifive (219,00 euros) is a CE certified motorcycle waterproof eco-down jacket in Class A, according to the EN17092 directive. The look appears essential and sporty, enriched by a padded hood and double pockets with water resistant zips. Always keeping in mind the waterproofness and resistance of the chambers that contain the synthetic wadding padding, it was developed without quilting the seams, but using a five-layer construction hence the name Hifive itself.
Figure a first layer with high tenacity Taslan nylon external fabric with WR treatment, laminated with the second layer made up of a breathable membrane with a high water column. Then there are a third and fourth layer represented by two nets woven together, defining chambers intended for padding. Then a fifth layer towards the inside where there is a second waterproof and breathable membrane, which allows the waterproof heat-taping of the seams that combine the different panels.

Tucano Urbano Twin

Designed for younger motorcyclists who love sport, Twin it is a short padded jacket with a motorcycle cut. Three colors are available: black plus two two-tone variants in sand-black and black-fluorescent yellow.
A waterproof, breathable and CE motorcycle certified garment, priced at 129,00 euros. The jacket is made of high tenacity Oxford polyester, padded with thermal wadding and equipped with HYDROSCUD® technology with a breathable, windproof and waterproof membrane, as well as taped seams to ensure maximum waterproofness and breathability. Protectors on the shoulders and elbows are listed and a pocket for back protection is also listed. Among the characterizing aspects there are also adjustments on the collar, bottom, sleeves and cuffs and various external and internal pockets.
