Tucano Urbano: new range for two-wheel enthusiasts even in bad weather [PHOTO]

Tucano Urbano proposes a new one fall-winter 2020/21 collection. You think about the weather conditions, without letting yourself be held back by turbulence or possible rain, continuing to travel on two wheels even in the coldest periods of the year.

The sheets

Among the novelties of the season, a great classic signed by Tucano Urbano are the motorbike/scooter covers, or RIPARI. They go PRO thanks to new weatherproof technology. There is an innovative external waterproof membrane that lets rain slide and externally taped seams.
I REPAIRS PRO they act as a "rain shield" and include a jersey lining to prevent scratches, a rear panel that can be personalized with the vehicle license plate, anti-theft slots and elastic inserts at wheel height. Then there is an anti-sweat pass-through belt developed with a fabric resistant up to 150° under the platform and the unloading area. Thanks to a colored ribbon that identifies the front part, their placement is simple as well as being compactable in a small package. The PRO SHELTERS are offered in four versions: 216PRO (€49,90) for scooters, 218PRO (€59,90) for scooters with top case and windshield, 220PRO (€69,90) for street motorbikes and maxi scooters and 222PRO ( €79,90) including bellows to cover bags and top cases on motorbikes chosen by touring enthusiasts.

Heated neck warmer

In the heating accessories section there is something new: the fleece neck warmer NECKWARM (€49,90). Solution equipped with a heating system in the cervical area, powered by a power bank not supplied, as indicated. The heating duration changes according to the battery power (approx. 2h with 5000mAh). The On/Off button is located on the collar, reportedly positioned to be visible using the rearview mirror.

Protection and comfort

Urban Turk HIFIVE (€219,00) is a new eco-down jacket laminated and CE certified in Class A, following the EN17092 directive. A garment made without quilting the seams, with a five-layer construction that refers to the name. The first layer is composed of a high-tenacity Taslan nylon external fabric with WR treatment and is bonded to a second layer made up of a breathable membrane with a high water column. Below there are a third and fourth made up of nets woven together, defining the chambers responsible for the padding. Therefore a fifth layer towards the inside represented by a second waterproof and breathable membrane, composing the waterproofing thermo-taping of the seams that couple the various panels.
The new one is then listed GULLIVER 2G (€269,00) CE motorcycle certified, according to the EN17092 directive. Developed with a HYDROSCUD® construction that differentiates the fabrics based on the type of need, the torso and sleeves are made of high tenacity Oxford nylon to resist abrasion in the areas at high risk of impact, therefore the sides and the inside of the sleeves are made of high tenacity Taslan nylon, aiding wearability. Fabrics with breathable, windproof and waterproof internal membrane. Then the taped seams allow the entire external structure to be waterproof and breathable. Three measures are also indicated to facilitate versatility: an internal duvet padded with thermal wadding, detachable and usable separately; a ventilation system on the sides and a removable double external anti-freeze collar.
Finally, the “tucanata” of the season, or the glove TAAAC (€79,90) CE motorcycle certificate which hides a pocket in the left cuff that can be opened via a WR zip, where you can keep the remote control or the device for paying the motorway toll. A glove with a soft shell back with ecofur lining for maximum warmth and a palm made of soft goatskin lined in microfibre to optimize sensitivity on commands. It features a 100 percent waterproof and breathable membrane, types of approved soft CPS protection on the knuckles and a two-layer visor wiper insert to clean the visor and bend the thumb, of the touch screen type, as reported.
