The new season of the Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance Trophy it already started last weekend on the Vallelunga route. The protagonists on the track challenged each other on the saddle Moto Guzzi V7 in Trophy version with 850 cc engine, Equipped with GCorse Racing Kit and tires Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp RS.

The beginning of the quantum edition

In the match scheduled for Saturday, livened up by rain, the team of Guaracing Factory Team 1, with drivers Diego Dessì and Jacopo Rizzardi, won the race after a challenge that ended in a sprint. A measuring success ahead of the Team Ducoli Corse composed of Antonio Bellicini and Cristiano Franco, followed closely by the formations Raptors 1 by the duo Luca Fornasiero-Mauro Rossignoli and Raptors 2 composed by Pierluigi Begossi and Marco Mirenda. Four bikes separated on the finishing line by less than two seconds.

The following day, however, after retiring in the first wet race following a crash, the Team Oldrati AR#28 composed of Alberto Rota and Mauro Poloni redeemed himself in the Sunday race, overtaking in the second part of the scheduled "mini endurance" the two competitive Raptors teams. On this occasion, the bike number 79 ridden by Begossi and Mirenda finished ahead of the number 87 of Fornasiero and Rossignoli, who finished on the podium of the day.

Over the weekend the best lineup during the timed trials was that of Tulli Racing made up of Alessandro Ioghà and Marco Leardini, who signed the pole position with an average time of 1'57”796. Instead Marco Leardini's record lap, 1'56 "996, has shaved off the previous reference by a few tenths, once again underlining the potential of the Moto Guzzi V7 in the Trofeo version. A motorbike, as mentioned, equipped with the GCorse Racing Kit and fitted with Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp RS tyres, protagonist in the lively comparison of the two one-hour "mini endurance", both fought to the finish line.

In the standings, after just two matches of the six scheduled rounds, the Dessì-Rizzardi duo is in the lead with 31 points, ahead of three other teams by just one point: Team dei Rapaci 1, Team Ducoli Corse and Team dei Rapaci 2 .
The next stop is scheduled for Cremona Circuit the day 11 June 2023 with a 90 minute “mini endurance”. The challenge will continue later on the track Mugello the next August 27th, before the final double match of the season at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli the days 14 (at night) e 15 October.
