Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance Trophy: the debut of the V2022 with 7 cc engine in racing guise in 850 [PHOTO]

Six races starting from May 14 2022 on the track of Vallelunga. In the fourth edition of Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance Trophy the new one will also be a protagonist on the track V7 equipped GCorse Racing Kit and Pirelli tyres.

The new season

Six events are scheduled on interesting Italian tracks, including the Cremona Circuit and the route of the Mugello. An evening appointment is also scheduled Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

The first one gives 90 minutes è scheduled for Saturday evening to be contested under the light of the spotlights and that of the V7 headlights mounted for the occasion. An idea recovered from what was planned for the 2020 season, unfortunately conditioned by the spread of the pandemic linked to COVID-19. The Sunday race, however, resulted in 60 minutes.

They are scheduled on race weekends two rounds of timed tests and every pilot has it available 20 minutes. The average of the best times obtained by the crew determines the starting position in one or both events on the agenda on that track.
The departure is always done in style "Le Mans" with the motorbikes positioned on one side of the road and the riders on the other side, ready to sprint to reach the vehicle and set off.
Each driver cannot drive for more than 15 minutes, in addition to 5 minutes to return to the pits from the moment the "change" sign is displayed. At least three or five changes are expected in the pit lane, depending on the expected duration of the race. No refueling is possible and at the end of each race points are awarded to the top 15 teams classified.

Motorbikes

In the next edition of Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance Trophy you will still be able to participate riding the competition version of the Moto Guzzi V7III. The crews on the specimens "half past seven" with GCorse Racing Kit they will play the matches together with the other teams, but will appear in a separate ranking.
The collaboration with Pirelli, the sole supplier of the Trophy, has also been confirmed. Motorcycles will always have tyres Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp RS.
Even the new ones Moto Guzzi V7 with units from 850 cc are set up to compete thanks to the work of the Guareschi brothers, historic Moto Guzzi preparers, who have developed a GCorse Racing Kit dedicated to the new model considering the experience acquired in the first three editions of the Trophy. It promises to be an even faster bike, with refined chassis qualities that make the model even more precise.
