The legend of the Casa dell'Aquila is ready to return to the track, Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th April Varano de 'Melegari, in the province of Parma, the first stage of the Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance Trophy.

There will be 36 riders, for a total of 18 crews, competing on the new ones Moto Guzzi V7III equipped with the appropriate Racing Kit made by GCorse brothers Guareschi. The drivers come from all over Italy, and are ready to challenge each other on the curbs for a trophy suitable for everyone, from the most experienced to the novices. There will also be special guests such as DJ Ringo, of Virgin Radio, and the team of Proraso. During the weekend, Proraso will also be present in the paddock with a Temporary Barber Shop, edited by Barberia Gibertoni of Modena, which will offer bikers and enthusiasts a traditional shaving or beard and mustache trimming service. Guzzi enthusiasts from the "The Clan" community and members of the will also be present Moto Guzzi World Club.

How will the weekend unfold? Two rounds of timed tests are scheduled for Saturday 13 April, both lasting 20 minutes for each driver. The average of the best chronometric measurements obtained by the two drivers of the crew will determine the starting position of each team in the race grid. The start will take place on Sunday 14th at 16pm, which will take place in "Le Mans" style, i.e. with the motorbikes lined up on one side of the track and the riders who at the start run across the asphalt strip to get on their bikes and set off. In the race, each driver will not be able to drive for more than 15 minutes + 15 consecutive laps: this means that the race - lasting 2 minutes - will be enlivened by at least three driver changes, which take place in the pit lane. At the end of the race, scores will be assigned to the top 60 ranked teams. The next events are scheduled on the slopes of Vallelunga (15 May), Magione (19 June) and Adria (23 September), until the grand finale in Misano on 1 October. Registration for individual Trophy events is possible up to two weeks before the race, at a cost of 13 Euros per Team.

The trophy bike, as anticipated, is the new one Moto Guzzi V7III with Kit Racing developed by Guareschi and with tires Pirelli dedicated. To take to the track, the motorbike must be fitted with this kit which, in addition to safety devices including, for example, underpan and front brake lever protection, includes a package of functional and aesthetic modifications. These include the front fairing, handlebars, complete exhaust system, raised footrests, side panels, solo seat and rear mudguard, number plates, front suspension cartridge kit and rear shock absorbers. The equipment is completed by a specific mapping of the engine control unit and dedicated front brake pads. The cost of the kit, which can be purchased directly from the Guareschi Moto dealership, is 3.330 Euros (plus VAT). The kit also includes the first set of Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp RS tyres, a racing tire that Pirelli, the sole supplier of the Trofeo, has developed specifically for the Moto Guzzi V7III: a high-performance tire that can be used throughout a race weekend.
