Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance Trophy 2020: longer races and a night event [PHOTO]

Some new features enrich the new season of Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance Trophy, as recently reported, in view of the first appointment of 2020 scheduled on the route of Monitor il 26th April. Longer competitions and an evocative night event are among the new features indicated.

Aspects confirmed

There remain five stages of the new season, just as the evocative start in is characterizing “Le Mans” style. Two standard bearers for each team riding specimens Moto Guzzi V7III in configuration Trofeo, equipped with a GCorse Racing Kit developed by the well-known brothers Guareschi and tires Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp RS.
The appointments in the table are: Monitor in the program 26th April, Vallelunga il 24st May, Magione il 21nd June, Adria il September 5th (night running) e Misano the day 11 October.
Those interested in participating can try the Moto Guzzi V7III in the Trofeo configuration in March and April in two test sessions at International Circuit of Abruzzo present a Ortona, as communicated.
The weekend formula has also been confirmed, with two rounds of timed tests on Saturday, 20 minutes for every pilot. The average of the respective measurements allows us to ascertain the position of the crew in the race, usually expected on Sunday except in Adria where it will already happen on Saturday evening. Each of the two pilots cannot drive the vehicle beyond 15 minutes, plus 5 minutes of time allowed to return to the pits after displaying the "change" sign, implying at least five driver changes, given the increased race time. There is no refueling and points are awarded to the first 15 team classified. The newness

However, substantial and aesthetic changes to the motorcycles are indicated, always maximizing safety and performance within the reach of a vast audience of speed enthusiasts on two wheels, with mentioned updates made considering the experience acquired in the first season. Interventions focused on the braking system equipped with a larger front disc and new elements in view of the night stage: a fairing with headlight housing and additional rear light. The only occasion in which it is possible to race under the light of the spotlights, in addition to the headlights of the V7III from competition.
The cost of the complete kit, contacting the dealership Guareschi Moto, amounts to 3.840 euros (plus VAT). The installation can be done independently or done directly by Guareschi Moto. To participate in the 2020 edition, the Teams in possession of the 2019 Kit (or a Moto Guzzi V7 III example set up in the 2019 Trophy configuration) can only purchase the additional components of the “2020 update kit” at the price of 465 euros (plus VAT), taking up again the indications in this regard. To all registered teams Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance Trophy 2020 The first set of tires is provided free of charge, always considering the relevant instructions.
Among the most interesting aspects of the new season stands out a longer time “miniendurance”, going from the previous 60 minutes to 90 minutes of tender.

How to participate

Registration, by filling out a specific form, is possible until 10 April 2020, taking part in the entire season at a cost of 1.250 € per Team, translated into 125 euros per driver each race, as indicated. Or you can register for individual stages, up to two weeks before the appointment, by paying 350 € to Team.
Furthermore, to participate you must be IMF members and in possession of competitive license of type Speed (o Off-road vehicle with speed extension). By registering, each team can choose the name and race number to assign to the crew, always reporting what is indicated.
