The race and the results

The Sicilian champion took part in his first race with an enduro model equipped with lights and license plate. He arrived at the Umbrian meeting with the pilot friends Joakin Furbetta and Gianluca di Marziantonio. The cross-country skiers competed for the overall classification and on this occasion Joakin Furbetta finished ahead of Matteo Del Coco by just 2 tenths, while Tony Cairoli still ranked close, less than 3 seconds away.

Another heavy rain on the night before the race, after the operations on Saturday, made the challenge more demanding, making the terrain of the match slippery. The departure took place regularly at 08.30 on Sunday under the sun, then the rain returned. There was another downpour, but the participants still completed the match.
