Over the recent weekend, a Città di Castello, another challenge has taken shape KTM Enduro Trophy. A new adventure in this 2021 and, despite keeping in mind the difficult period, 267 participants were reported.

It all started on the afternoon of Friday March 26 with the distribution of the "READY TO RACE" KIT, then secretarial checks were carried out on Saturday before accessing the parc fermé with numerous motorbikes visible, also given the presence of the Husqvarna and GASGAS single-brand vehicles.
The main operations took place outdoors, while the paddock was set up in the well-known spaces Crossdrome of Trogna G. Ceccarini. The collaboration of the Red Cross was also invaluable and, as indicated, manned the stations in compliance with safety regulations. Also highlighted is the organization of the Trophy staff, assisted by the members of the Baglioni Moto Club, always in compliance with current regulations.

A day favored by beautiful spring weather. A long enough lap is expected to be covered twice with three timed trials included, reachable on foot from the paddock and the start. Among the names mentioned were Giovanni Sala and Gigi Bianchetti, who established the travel times for the two sectors of the race, reporting possible critical issues to the organization.
The first KTM rider Alessandro Esposto, with the number 101, started at 08.30 am and another 266 followed on the 60 km of the route also characterized by "native Umbrian stone". The participants immediately faced the cross-country test, then were engaged in the first enduro line and a subsequent transfer section. Also indicated is a time check and a special in the woods, before returning to the paddock for the next time check.

Highlights in the Città di Castello (PG) stage: Eugenio Carletti in the 125; Francesco Sancho in the 250 2T; Jordy Manzoni in the 300 2T; Alessandro De Vecchi in the 250 4T; Denny Muttoni in the 450 4T; Alessandro Esposto in the Top Class; Fabiano Gusmini in the Veteran; Gianluigi Simonelli in Freeride; Massimo Lago in Iron; Mario Zanetti in the Revival; Giancarlo Lenzotti in Super Iron; Andrea Rastrelli in Vintage. Giancarlo Lenzotti won the Motorex challenge dedicated to Nanni Tamiatto.
Also underlined was Martina Beltrandi's first success among women and the great performance of Marco Iob who, in addition to the success in the twin-cylinder motorcycle category, arrived in the Umbrian town on his motorbike, coming from Lake Orta in the company of his friend Stefano “Sasà” Di Benedetto, then returning home again on two wheels.
Finally, a success among the teams for the Club for the Off Road Berghem Moto Club Chieve and in the comparison between the Bull Bikes Modena Dealership Team, preceding Corti Motorsport Albavilla (CO) and Cocconcelli Moto Reggio Emilia, as indicated.
The next appointment is scheduled for 16st May al Brallo pass.
