Husqvarna Enduro Trophy: a sunny start to the new 2022 season

Seasonal departure in a pleasant climate and in a welcoming area like that of Castiglione Fiorentino (AR). On the first date of Husqvarna Enduro Trophy of the 2022 There were over 150 pilots participating.

The race

The Sunday challenge of 10th April it was held on a 70 km route traveled twice, with a surface enriched by the heavy rains of the previous week, but under a sun that shone throughout the entire weekend. There were three special timed tests, including 2 Cross Tests and 1 Enduro Test. The only thing worth mentioning was the strong wind blowing during the night before the race, which however started at 08:30 according to schedule.

At the end of the first event, Filippo Colarusso achieved success in the Top Class with the FE 250; Alessandro Tosana, on the other hand, won the 125 class. Success also for Luca Mamone in 250 2T and Mattia Dodi in 300 2T.
Moving on to four-stroke models, Luca Grosso triumphed in the 250 4T class and Daryl Santi in the 450 riding a FE 350.
Also noteworthy are the successes of Massimo Chiellini in the Veteran 2T and Massimo Camiciottoli in the Veteran 4T; instead Elio Cambria stood out in the Iron while Edoardo Molinari in the Super Iron. Lisa Baldin established herself among the female participants and in the Dual Sport Stefano Turchi shone, then in the Special Husqvarna success for Guido Conforti.
In the ranking reserved for dealers, Bike & Co. Voghera was the protagonist, then in the Motoclub rankings the Trial David Fornaroli team.

The various phases of the race were timed via transponder and the progress could be followed online via the new Whip Live app. The management of the local Moto Club “Fabrizio Meoni” was also brilliant, as reported.
The weekend was inaugurated on Saturday 9 April with the distribution of the kit for the participants of the entire Trophy and with the briefing by Track Inspector Arnaldo Nicoli.

The next meeting is scheduled for 24th April a Città di Castello in the province of Perugia with the organization of the Moto Club Baglioni. Paddock and departure are scheduled in the famous “Ceccarini” crossdrome, near La Trogna. Three special tests in each of the two scheduled laps.
