Sunny and colorful climate a Città della Pieve (PG), fourth stage recovered in the2022 edition of the Husqvarna Enduro Trophy, organized in less than 30 days by MC Castel de La Pieve. A route is planned three laps and two special stages on the hills between Umbria and Tuscany.

The Umbrian race

170 participants were present, including those from the GASGAS Enduro Trophy which took place at the same time, which gave rise to interesting comparisons in the various categories starting from the Top Class, where Alessio Paoli won by a few tenths over Alex Favari, setting the absolute best time. In the 125 class Luca Maserati prevailed over Alessandro Tosana after an intense duel, while in the 250 2T Massimo Wolkow Mutti was only 2 seconds faster than Matteo Bracco.
Mattia Dodi was unstoppable in the 300 class and Luca Grosso won in the 250 4T. However, the dispute in 450 was fought, again won by Gianni Ganozzi ahead of Christian Angella. Lisa Baldin achieved success in the women's class, while in the Iron and Super Iron Elio Cambria (who also won the Nanni Tamiatto Challenge) and Edoardo Molinari won respectively. Success then in the Veteran 2T for Massimo Chelini and in the Veteran 4T for Massimo Camiciottoli. Among the wild cards, Davide Nicoli prevailed.
Finally, the dealer challenge was won by Hunter Motorcycles of Florence and Trial David Fornaroli of Piacenza prevailed again in the Motoclub ranking.
The race context enhanced by the flag-wavers after the Saturday briefing with the race secretariat in a deconsecrated church was interesting. As mentioned, there were three 68 km race laps, also characterized by a Cross Test and an Enduro Test faced by riders riding 4-stroke FC and 2-stroke TC models.
A race made demanding also by the torrid climate, the risk of low visibility was averted with the decision to reduce the frequency of starts, which dropped from three to two every minute, allowing the dust to settle.
The next and final event of the season, where the titles will be awarded, is scheduled for 9 October a Volterra (IP).
