Husqvarna Enduro Trophy: the 2020 edition ended in Castellarano [PHOTO]

The participants and 30 wild cards animated the last event of the event until the end of the four laps Husqvarna Enduro Trophy 2020. The “Cross Valley” cross-track was the scene of action of this fourth and decisive weekend, directed by MC Castellarano in his debut among the organizing Moto Clubs, as reported.

The results

Simone Bastianini, absent in Anghiari, returned to the top of the 125 class, but suffered the zero of the third race in the general ranking, regaining the information. In 250 the battle for the top continued between Tommaso Gabrielli and Leonardo Lucarini. The first of the two, triumphing in Castellarano, reached second in the standings and won the title although on equal points due to the greater weight given to the result of the last stage. Same thing in 300 with the success of Mattia Dodi who reached and overtook Alfio Chioda in the ranking. Switching to the 250 4T, Maicol Parini achieved another triumph after Anghiari, but Marco Rovero, after two first and two second places, won the season title. Also in 450 Alessandro Pozzi made a successful attempt to win the trophy, but Daryl Santi defended his advantage with a valuable second place.
In Top Class Andrea Bassi won, while in Veteran Massimo Gioia won with three triumphs in four races. Fabio Stragliotto remained dominant in the Iron class and Ennio Bini won the Super Iron trophy, although finishing the last stage in second position behind Massimo Prazzoli. In Dual Sport Federico Ghitti won after three successes and despite a zero, then Amanda Pirani shone among the Lady. Other successes included those of Maurizio Campanozzi in Revival and Antonio Giordano in Vintage, while in Under 18 Alessandro Tosana prevailed, in Over 40 the tie remained between Mattia Dodi and Alfio Chioda and the Over 45 was won by Massimo Gioia. In conclusion, among the teams Gabrielli Moto won ahead of Osellini, among the Motoclubs MC Azeglio won, as reported.

The final stage

A castellarano there was a double commitment from the drivers active in the Veteran category, also participating in the comparison linked to the Michelin awards for the Challenge of the day. A double challenge also for the protagonists of the Iron, Super Iron, Dual and Revival classes, considering the Motorex Challenge dedicated to Nanni Tamiatto.
The stage of the Husqvarna Enduro Trophy was also the scene of action for the JET Jolly Enduro Team Zanardo riders Joe Wootton, Ruy Barbosa and Andrew Wilksch, the forerunner of the event. The challenge took place on an off-road track of almost 25 km with two special tests. A first technical tape characterized by incursions into the track alternating with paths traced along the external perimeter of the cross-track, then a second test on a hilly stretch of the Emilian area, between fast sections on a counter-slope on a meadow. The setting was also interesting, given that you could admire the route from the municipal road.
