Triumph Tiger Sport 660: a new expression of movement in the dual sport segment

Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is a new medium-sized motorcycle from the British brand, equipped with a three-cylinder drive unit and designed for the dual sport segment.

Aesthetics and contents

The design appears sculpted and aerodynamic with clear lines, starting from the front area up to the minimalist tail. The aesthetics is also enhanced by elements such as: the rear-view mirrors, the protections for the fork legs and the side panels located to protect the radiator. The compactness is underlined by the shape of the exhaust terminal visible at the bottom. The windscreen is height-adjustable, the sculpted tank can accommodate up to 17 liters of fuel and there are also supports for the rigid side bags integrated into the tail profile.
In summary, a model designed to be versatile in daily use and functional when traveling for long distances. We also highlight three color combinations: a refined combination Lucerne Blue and Sapphire Black; the sporty vision linked to colours Korosi Red and Graphite with graphics, hence the elegant symbiosis Graphite and Black.

Different too Original Triumph Accessories combinable, for example the rigid side bags in body color of 29 liters on the right and 28 liters on the left, as well as a spacious 47 liter top case, a waterproof roll bag and a practical aluminum roof rack for transporting luggage. Technical and technological aspects

The compact frame is combined with a Showa upside down unit 41 millimeters with 150 mm of travel and behind an adjustable monoshock shock absorber for riding in pairs or singles. The aluminum rims are from 17 inches with a 5-spoke design, dressed in original equipment Michelin Road 5 tyres. The step extends for 1.418 mm and the rider's seat is present at a height of 835 mm with double seat ergonomics designed to accommodate a passenger.
The motorcycle features full LED headlights with direction indicators equipped with an automatic deactivation function. The multi-function instrumentation is visible on a color screen TFT, which may be connected with the aforementioned My Triumph Connectivity system to have arrow navigation or manage the GoPro action camera, along with other features. Operations that can be managed via the handlebar controls.
Also functional is the presence of an anti-slipper clutch with a control lever designed to avoid fatigue, as well as the indication of the two riding modes Road e Rain , which is associated with different modes of activation of the traction control, as well as the response of the throttle control. Traction control can be deactivated, as noted.

Thruster

To the three-cylinder engine from 660 cc, approved Euro 5, are associated with an accelerator ride-by-wire and an optimized 6-speed gearbox. The power reaches a peak of 81 horses at 10.250 rpm, with 64 Nm of torque at 6.250 rpm. Also indicated a depower kit for those who have an A2 driving licence. A full power reversible solution.

Proposal

The model will be available since February 2022 at the ex-dealership price of 8.995 euros, according to the indications.
