Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Pro: the dynamic versatility of the new model [VIDEO]

The new Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Pro it is one of the advanced versions of a range powered by a new three-cylinder engine with T-Plane shaft. This includes the GT models and also the GT Explorer and Rally Explorer versions equipped with a fuel tank 30 liters, compared to that from 20 liters combined with the other specimens. Solutions and technique

It is 20 millimeters wider than the previous one and on the GT Explorer and Rally Explorer models it is 16 mm higher. Handguards are present throughout the overview, while the aluminum guards are distinguishable in design and extension on the GT and Rally models. Additional protective elements are noted for the GT Explorer and Rally Explorer models with engine protection bars, also extended to the tank in the case of the Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer. Furthermore, for the GT Explorer and Rally Explorer variants, together with other combined solutions, there is also a new and exclusive Triumph Blind Spot Radar system, developed together with Continental, which is associated with the Blind Spot Assist and Lane Change Assist functions.

The weight reduction of the new project also appears to be linked to the choice of aluminum to develop the tank and the double-sided rear swingarm with tri-link technology.
We highlight a frame that is 5,4 kg more compact and lighter than the previous one which is associated with a bolted rear section. The models are also equipped with an under-saddle mechanism that allows the seat to be quickly fixed at two different heights, with a variation of 20 mm.
On the GT, GT Pro and GT Explorer models the seat height changes by 850/870 mm, while for the Rally Pro and Rally Explorer models the variation changes between 875 mm and 895 mm. Among the accessories, a low saddle is also listed for a further 20 mm of containment.
The suspension part is made up of latest generation semi-active Showa electronic solutions with dedicated settings and all models feature a Brembo Stylema® braking system. Also indicated are the Magura HC-1 adjustable levers.
Finally the triple engine from 1.160 cc it is characterized by a T-plane configuration with firing of the three cylinders at irregular intervals. Nine more horsepower are indicated, reaching a peak of 150 horses at 9.000 rpm and a higher torque of 8 Nm tapping 130 Nm at 7.000 rpm.
