The new Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Pro it is one of the advanced versions of a range powered by a new three-cylinder engine with T-Plane shaft. This includes the GT models and also the GT Explorer and Rally Explorer versions equipped with a fuel tank 30 liters, compared to that from 20 liters combined with the other specimens. The model is the protagonist in a film proposed by Official Triumph Motorcycles on YouTube.

Clean and sculpted design

A project designed for traveling and exploring. A dynamism also favored by lightness, another important aspect, given that a given content is underlined over 25 kg compared to the previous generation and up to 17 kg less than the main competitor, with comparable specifications and shaft final transmission.
The dimensions are generally combined, the light motif that characterizes the front light clusters, the surfaces and the mechanical part appear connotative, like the chassis setup. The central part of the vehicle and the development of the saddle are also highlighted, aspects which facilitate the support of the feet on the ground.
for Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Pro e Rally Explorer the shades are noted Sapphire Black, Matt Khaki e Snowdonia White. Instead at Tiger 1200GT coloring is associated Snowdonia White, while for the models Tiger 1200GT Pro e GT Explorer in addition to Snowdonia White even the colors Sapphire Black e Lucerne Blue.
The GT models are equipped with spoked wheels 19 inches in front and from 18 inches behind, while the Rally ones have tubeless spoked rims with a front one 21 inches.
According to the information they are over 50 Original Accessories that can be combined, including luggage transport programs with new Trekker bags in plastic material with a top case with a capacity of 52 liters for storing two full-face helmets and a backrest, or the new Expedition top-loading aluminum bags, which feature a 42 liter topcase to which a backrest in aluminum or black tone is always attached.

Solutions and technique

On the front there is a windshield that can also be adjusted while driving, furthermore the position of the handlebars is optimized considering the specific features of the models. It is 20 millimeters wider than the previous one and on the GT Explorer and Rally Explorer models it is 16 mm higher. Handguards are present throughout the overview, while the aluminum guards are distinguishable in design and extension on the GT and Rally models. Additional protective elements are noted for the GT Explorer and Rally Explorer models with engine protection bars, also extended to the tank in the case of the Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer. According to the indications, they can be inserted later on models that do not have them as standard.
As mentioned, the integrated LED daytime light signature is distinctive and there is also an Adaptive Cornering Lights solution, a cornering function sensitive to the angle of inclination present on all versions apart from the Tiger 1200 GT model, which also does not include heated grips , central stand and a Hill Hold function which prevents the vehicle from moving backwards in the event of an uphill start.
Various associated technological solutions including a seven-inch color TFT instrument panel with specific graphics to which a My Triumph Connectivity System can be associated. Depending on the model, there can be up to six driving modes with interventions on delivery and response, in addition to the action of other solutions. In Rain mode the thrust is electronically limited to 100 horsepower. On Tiger 1200 Rally Pro and Rally Explorer the programs reported are: Road, Rain , Sport, Rider-customizable, Off-Road e Off-Road Pro. The Off-Road Pro mode represents the most extreme mapping for off-road use, with the deactivation of ABS and traction control, also optimizing the stress on the engine.
The Cornering Traction Control itself is optimized and included as standard in each version and, through the data collected by the IMU platform, finalizes the system intervention parameters based on the chosen mode. Furthermore, for the GT Explorer and Rally Explorer variants, together with other combined solutions, there is also a new and exclusive Triumph Blind Spot Radar system, developed together with Continental, which is associated with the Blind Spot Assist and Lane Change Assist functions.

The weight reduction of the new project also appears to be linked to the choice of aluminum to develop the tank and the double-sided rear swingarm with tri-link technology.
We highlight a frame that is 5,4 kg more compact and lighter than the previous one which is associated with a bolted rear section. The models are also equipped with an under-saddle mechanism that allows the seat to be quickly fixed at two different heights, with a variation of 20 mm.
On the GT, GT Pro and GT Explorer models the seat height changes by 850/870 mm, while for the Rally Pro and Rally Explorer models the variation changes between 875 mm and 895 mm. Among the accessories, a low saddle is also listed for a further 20 mm of containment.
The suspension part is made up of latest generation semi-active Showa electronic solutions with dedicated settings and all models feature a Brembo Stylema® braking system. Also indicated are the Magura HC-1 adjustable levers.
Finally the triple engine from 1.160 cc it is characterized by a T-plane configuration with firing of the three cylinders at irregular intervals. Nine more horsepower are indicated, reaching a peak of 150 horses at 9.000 rpm and a higher torque of 8 Nm tapping 130 Nm at 7.000 rpm.
