A refined color scheme

The specimen of Triumph Thruxton RS Ton Up Edition is characterized by a dedicated look that recalls the passion for sportsmanship and the road racing panorama, drawing inspiration from the "café racer" sector, from the "Ton Up Boys" of the 50s and 60s and from the first production motorcycle that , at the 1969 Isle of Man TT, he completed a lap reaching 100 mph with Malcolm Uphill.

A characterizing livery

Triumph Thruxton RS Ton Up Edition includes several custom details such as the Monza-style fuel cap, bar-end rear-view mirrors, a solo seat and a double brushed stainless steel silencer.
The model is distinguishable from the tank in Aegean Blue with recesses for the knees Jet Black and the presence of a silver-colored fillet. The tail with a black finish and the front mudguard are covered in Fusion White, enlivened by an accent Carnival Red and “100” graphics.
The side panels, on which the "Thruxton RS Ton Up" badge is visible, are in Jet Black like the headlight housing and the rear mudguard. Other details are in Matt Aluminum Silver. Furthermore, to accentuate the sporty vision, the front fairing is available in Aegean Blue.

Technical aspects

A motorcycle equipped with a USD Showa fork from 43 millimeters and behind a pair of adjustable Öhlins shock absorbers with separate reservoir. The braking system is made up of Brembo M50 and Nissin solutions. The picture is completed by Metzler Racetec RR sports tires.
The lighting system includes LED headlights with DRL function and there are also three riding modes, opting between Road, Rain e Sport, which is associated with a ride-by-wire electronic accelerator for optimized management of the engine response and delivery curve. Also present are ABS and traction control that can be deactivated.
Being a sporty example with classic references, the driving position is front-loaded, also considering control.
The engine is a 1.200 cc Bonneville twin-cylinder, approved Euro 5. The power reaches i 105 horses at 7.500 rpm and the torque peak is 112 Nm at just 4.250 rpm.

Availability

It will be proposed for just one year starting since December and a price of 18.050 euros ex-dealership is indicated.
