A bold design reminiscent of the most energetic RS, a content renewal linked to an a three cylinders of 660 cc and a license compatibility A2, are some of the peculiar aspects relating to the new one Triumph Street Triple S.

Aesthetics

The new roadster of the English brand has a refined and streamlined aesthetic, also distinguishable from the livery Crystal White with graphics in Diablo Red e Black and badge on the black tank and dark rear subframe. Features 5-spoke aluminum alloy wheels (17 x 3,5″ front and 17 x 5,5″ rear) with tires Pirelli Diablo Rosso III. Drawing inspiration from the aforementioned and already known Street Triple RS, the new example appears energetic and sporty. An image underlined by the attention paid to the new rear-view mirrors, the split LED headlight and integrated position lights, the LCD instrument panel, but also on the renewed shape of the superstructures with a clearer and more marked style. Also pronounced is the setting of the flow conveyors, the fly screen, the side panels and the tail, as reported.

Chassis and equipment

The example has a double tubular beam front frame aluminum. While at the rear it is high pressure die-cast and consists of two pieces. The wheelbase amounts to 1.410 millimeters, the height of the saddle at altitude 810 mm, the width of the handlebar a 765 mm and then the reported dry weight amounts to 168 kg, so the tank can hold 17.4 liters of fuel.
The distinctive gullwing swingarm offers high torsional rigidity and an optimized level of lateral flexibility, according to the indications. Then the different position of the pivot is useful when thinking about the "Crushing" of the progressive shock absorber. Moving on to the Street Triple S's suspension, there are 41mm Showa USD forks with 110mm of travel and a Showa “piggyback” rear monoshock with 124mm of travel, separate reservoir and adjustable preload, as reported.
