A general refinement. The new Triumph Speed ​​Twin it represents a conjunction of aesthetics, liveliness and character, recognizable already from the details and colours.

The new definition

An evolution that affects multiple factors, from design to dynamism. Considering the features that recall the style Bonneville merged with minimalist and current features, elegant elements stand out that accentuate the vision. Details and finishes are noticeable, including the front and rear fenders in brushed aluminum with new supports, together with the characteristic headlight with DRL and rear light and LED turn signals.

Three colors are available, choosing between one Red Hoppers, Matt Storm Gray with yellow elements it's a Jet Black. There are also over 50 accessories that can be combined to refine style, practicality and safety, such as multifunction LED indicators, knee protectors, saddles and more.
Among the highlighted aspects of the model are also the bar-end rear-view mirrors, a distinctive 14,5-litre tank with recesses for the knees, the sculpted side panels, the flat seat, a double sports silencer in brushed steel and new aluminum wheels 12 races.

Technique and technology

The new Speed ​​Twin features a 43 mm Marzocchi upside-down fork and a double rear shock with preload adjustment and 120 mm of travel. The saddle is placed at a height of 809 mm and the motorbike is equipped with a wide and close handlebar, in order to favor a relaxed position.
The braking system has been revised and features a double 320 mm Brembo disc with a radially mounted Brembo M50 4-piston monobloc caliper and behind it a 220 mm disc with a 2-piston Nissin floating caliper. ABS is standard. Furthermore, the bike is fitted with Metzeler Racetec RR tires combined with the aforementioned 12-inch 17-spoke aluminum wheels.
Moving on to the technological aspects, we highlight a ride-by-wire system and three driving modes to choose from Rain , Road e Sport. The refinement concerns the throttle response and the traction control settings, based on what the rider chooses via a handlebar button. It is also possible to deactivate traction control independently via the instrumentation. The utilities also include an immobilizer with transponder integrated into the key, a USB charging socket under the seat and a tire pressure monitoring system offered as an optional. The instrumentation consists of a double dial with a digital menu accessible via a handlebar button.

Motor

The twin-cylinder engine 1200cc Bonneville High Power has evolved by offering more accentuated performance in compliance with the regulations Euro 5. Response is quicker with the 17% reduction in inertia, allowing the engine to spin 500 rpm faster and higher. The sound remains distinctive, emitted by the new cone sports silencers.
Delivered three more horsepower reaching 100 horses at 7.250 rpm, therefore there is a fuller torque curve and a peak of 112 Nm at 4.250 rpm
