The on-board technology is noteworthy and boasts second-generation TFT instruments, six driving modes, including Off-Road Pro on the XE model, cornering ABS and cornering Traction Control optimized on the front DRL), intuitive 5-way joystick blocks, backlit blocks, assisted clutch, Keyless ignition, cruise control, USB charging socket, heated grips as standard on the XE model and ready to be fitted as an option on the XC model. The braking system is made up of a double M50 monobloc radial Brembo caliper, while the frame is dedicated to On-Off use. Additionally there are foldable and adjustable foot controls on the XE model, tangential spokes for tubeless tires. The new 1200 is the first bike in the category with a 21" front wheel, tubeless tires dedicated to adventure. The wheels are Pirelli Scorpion Rally.

The range of the brand new Scrambler 1200 is made up of two versions. Both models offer the rider unrelenting torque thanks to the 1200cc Bonneville High Power engine but revised and refined for off-road use.

To give the iconic Scrambler sound, there is a double exhaust with tall brushed aluminum silencers which gives a dark and deep sound to the English twin-cylinder. Both Scrambler 1200s are characterized by a new extension of maintenance intervals, now spaced by 16,000 km. In addition to the already well-known Bonneville clothing collection, Triumph has developed a new line dedicated to the Scrambler 1200, with a selection of t-shirts, checkered glasses and various casual clothes for men and women.
