Aesthetics

Recognizable by the peculiar color scheme that refers to the saga of 007, is made alone 250 specimens with riser clamp machined from solid and numbered plate. This exclusive Bond edition refers to the Scrambler 1200 used in some scenes of the film "No Time To Die", remembering those for example turn in the suggestive Matera. Total black details can be seen by observing: “rear mudguard, handle and sump guard with black anodized finish, black forks, engine decorations with gold details, swingarm and sprocket cover with black powder-coated finish”, along with other distinctive features such as a tall front fender with a black anodized finish, fog lights embraced by a black anodized frame, stainless steel headlight grille, machined front brake reservoir, black rear wheel adjusters and muffler Arrow with carbon fiber terminals. Other highlighted elements are: a TFT instrument cluster with “Bond” welcome screen, a leather seat with embroidered logo, a number plate on the exhaust and lower side panel finisher with branding 007.

Technique and equipment

With the collaboration of Öhlins, considering a chassis designed to also tackle off-road sections and keeping in mind the overall ergonomics, the chassis of the model includes Öhlins double spring adjustable rear suspension with separate tank and wheel travel of well 250 mm, then radial monobloc calipers Brembo M50, adjustable and foldable footrests, tubeless tires and spoked front rim 21 inches.
The lighting is of type LED with daytime running lights DRL front linked to a 5-inch headlight, while the rear light is characterized by opaque details and direction indicators in specific markets. The switches are backlit by LEDs inside the blocks, to support visibility in different conditions. On this Bond Edition, keyless ignition is standard with a start button on the switch block detecting the electronic key. It is also possible to deactivate the system keyless by pressing a button. Heated grips are also standard. A button on the left knob allows you to choose between two modes.
The aforementioned second generation TFT instrumentation is visible on a screen Full color TFT with two customizable themed layouts, being able to also customize the message on the welcome screen with the respective name. A catch reported 5V USB located in a new foam-lined under-seat storage compartment, while with an optional connectivity solution and My Triumph app it is possible to manage phone and music functions, navigation and GoPro, by operating the switch blocks with information directly on the instrument panel.
Also highlighted are six driving modes to choose between Road, Rain , Off-Road, Sport, Rider and Off-Road Pro linked to the dynamism and reactivity required, as well as the driving conditions, without forgetting traction control and ABS. The Off-Road Pro program is combined with a setup designed for off-road with ABS and traction control deactivated and Off-Road mapping during acceleration, taking up the indications.
Staying up ABS e cornering traction control are supported by IMU inertial measurement platform developed in partnership with Continental, with the constant management of various parameters, therefore the adoption of active safety measures. Finally, a torque-assisted clutch and standard electronic cruise control with a single-button system integrated into the left-hand block.

Engine and performance

A limited edition based on Scrambler 1200XE, a top-of-the-range example. There Bond edition it is animated by a drive unit 1.200 cc that develops 90 horses at 7.400 rpm e 110 Nm of maximum torque at just 3.950 rpm. The 270° firing interval supports smooth delivery and this heart is paired with a six-speed gearbox, functional technologies such as a system ride-by-wire and an integrated liquid cooling solution, plus a tall dual exhaust with stainless steel headers and an Arrow muffler with carbon fiber end sections.
