Il Project TE-1 Prototype involves the development of an electric two-wheeled example with innovative technological solutions and integrated design. A collaborative project between Triumph Motorcycles, Williams Advanced Engineering, Integral Powertrain Ltd e Warwick Manufacturing Group at the 'University of Warwick, financed byOffice for Zero Emission Vehicles, via InnovateUK as reported.

Phase 2

In the video proposed by Official Triumph Motorcycles with the introduction of Jamie Roche, speakers include Steve Sargent, Chief Product Officer Triumph Motorcycles; Dyrr Ardash, Senior Commercial Manager Williams Advance Engineering; Andrew Cross, Chief Technical Officer Integral Powertrain and Truong Quang Dinh, Assistant Professor of Energy Management and Control Systems Warwick Manufacturing Group.
In Phase 2 the electric powertrain complete with battery and the first sketches are presented. The second step of four involving some of the best in British engineering and design.
The aim of the project is to define a high-capacity electric model that can provide interesting input to Triumph on the future creation of an electric motorcycle.

Triumph Motorcycles is a project leader, providing its experience in the field of chassis design, engineering and assembly of the various vehicle components and the electronic management systems of the propulsion system.
Williams Advanced Engineering offers innovative lightweight and high-performance batteries as well as its knowledge in the testing phase to facilitate integration into the vehicle.
Integral Powertrain Ltd.'s e-Drive Division is focused on the design of the electric motor and inverter, developed in an integrated way.
WMG, at the University of Warwick, is an expert in the electric mobility panorama, identifying the best strategies to respond to future market demands and growing trends.

Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) is made up of a team of professionals within the British Government who notice and support transition initiatives towards zero-emission mobility, also through the procurement of functional investments. OZEV is part of the Department for Transport and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
InnovateUK it is the body connected to the British government that is responsible for promoting and supporting the development of innovation by aggregating British excellence, as reported.
Through an advanced approach in the field of powertrain design, from the first evaluation sessions it was possible to reach and exceed the current market benchmarks in terms of performance, durability and dynamism related to an electric motorcycle, based on the information. Further developments in battery performance are enabling the Project TE-1 Prototype to meet expectations and set the stage for the development of future Triumph examples.
As mentioned, there are four phases of the project, bringing together British excellence engaged in different fields such as automotive, electrification and research and development, for maximum integration between various individually developed systems.
