Triumph brings the new Street Scrambler and Street Twin to Intermot

For both engines with more horsepower, more torque and lots of technology on board

Triumph enchanted those present Intermot bringing two interesting innovations: the new Street scrambler and the new Street twin, both profoundly revised to welcome a new audience and give renewed energy to a brand that is still synonymous with character and quality today.

Triumph Street Scrambler

The new Street Scrambler is one of Triumph's most loved and appreciated modern classics. Launched in 2017, it is characterized by a robust off-road aesthetic and very comfortable versatility, it was immediately appreciated by customers and trainers. The 2019 version promises to achieve superior performance thanks to a significant increase in power and improved specifications, new technologies present for the first time in the segment, and an even higher level of finish, in addition to the splendid details typical of scramblers. The new engine delivers a maximum power of 65 HP, 10 more than in the past, and a torque of 80 Nm. The Street Scrambler features the new Brembo braking system with 4-piston caliper for the front brake and new upper front forks for greater more comfortable ride. The riding position is typical of a scrambler, with wide handlebars and forward-tilted footrests. The front rim is 19" and the tires supplied are dual purpose to have excellent grip on road surfaces and slightly bumpy ones. There is also a lot of technology on board, such as the driving mode selector which now has the Road and Rain variants, but also the renewed ABS and traction control systems that can be deactivated or the immobilizer and the USB socket.

In some markets, a dealer-fitted depowering kit for the A2 license will be available for the new Street Scrambler, with APS accelerator control knob and engine tuning. The kit makes the Street Scrambler even more fascinating and accessible, and allows it to be the first bike for a large group of new and very young enthusiasts.

Triumph Street Twin

The new Street Twin 2019 represents an important step forward for Triumph's most successful modern classic, now more powerful, more advanced and technological. Launched in 2016, the Street Twin is the most contemporary model in Triumph's Bonneville range and has become the best-selling modern classic. Its success is due to the beautiful custom aesthetics, the easy and safe riding, which makes it suitable for those who approach the motorbike for the first time and an exciting engine with lots of torque. The new engine will be able to provide stronger emotions thanks to the 18% increase in power which brings it to 65 HP and a torque of 80 Nm. Also in this case the new Brembo braking system with 4-piston caliper has been fitted for the front brake and new upper front forks for a more comfortable ride.

On request the motorbike can be equipped with the TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), while as standard there are ABS and traction control which can be switched off, a torque-assisted clutch, an immobiliser and a USB socket. As per Triumph tradition, aesthetics also wants its (important) part and so the new multi-spoke aluminum rims with molded elements, the new logo and the renewed aesthetics of the instruments give an even more "premium" appearance to a motorcycle destined for sure success.
