Triumph Motorcycles: five more years with The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

The support of. will continue for another five years Triumph Motorcycles as Main Partner at the fundraising event The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride (DGR).

The initiative

During 8 years, Triumph Motorcycles and the DGR collaborated to extend The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride on an international level, attracting the attention of numerous motorcyclists with results also in the collection of donations.

The first DGR promoted by Triumph dates back to 28 September 2014 and involved 58 countries, 257 cities and around 20.000 elegantly dressed motorcyclists, reaching a total of around half a million dollars. The following year saw growth, reaching 79 countries, 410 cities, 37.000 participants and more than $2,3 million. Growth continued subsequently until the record-breaking edition of 2019, given the presence of 116.000 motorcyclists and a collection of more than 6 million dollars distributed in 104 countries around the world, as mentioned.

Despite the pandemic, in 2020 The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride still took place, albeit in a different way. The format “Ride Solo Together” it allowed safe and global membership, given the interest in 171 countries and 2.531 locations, symbolically connected through social media.
The renewal of the partnership confirms a successful path in supporting medical research against prostate cancer and in favor of men's mental health.
As a partner to Mark Hawwa and his team in supporting and spreading the idea of ​​DGR, the British brand's contribution has enabled DGR to reach further. A commitment also linked to the interest shown by Triumph enthusiasts, the dealer network and company staff.
