Two unique examples of style with iconic references. A collaboration between Triumph Motorcycles e Gibson gave shape to “1959 Legends Custom Edition” of the model Triumph Bonneville T120 and the guitar Gibson Les Paul Standard Reissue. The examples evoke the beauty and original concept of the historic Bonneville T120 from 1959 and the equally well-known Les Paul Standard from the same year.

The models and the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

A reference to the strong link between music and motorbikes and in particular the year 1959. The same as the Gibson Les Paul Standard, considered the Holy Grail of guitars, but also the historic Triumph Bonneville T120, a motorcycle representative of British style.
The Les Paul Standard Reissue guitar represents a classic Gibson piece that reproduces the original instrument, from the sunburst finish to the characteristic sound. The edition “1959 Legends” It features unique Triumph design details, such as a reissue switch plate, logo truss rod cover and engraved pickup covers, as well as a hand-painted fillet pickguard reminiscent of Bonneville cooling fins.

Moving on to the motorcycle, the various and exclusive Gibson design details that characterize the Bonneville T120 1959 Legends Custom Edition model immediately stand out, in particular the hand-placed sunburst finish, the shape of the neck and headstock of a guitar in Jet Black with painted threads handmade and a custom brown leather saddle paired with the guitar's leather case, with additional details such as custom pick holders, diamond stitching and an embroidered Triumph logo.
Among the aspects highlighted are also the certificate of authenticity of the 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue and the one signed by Triumph CEO Nick Bloor and the President of Gibson Brands, Cesar Gueikian.

The "1959 Legends" edition guitar and motorbike will be awarded to those who collect the greatest number of donations during the event Distinguished Gentleman's Ride of 2022 scheduled for May 22nd. Registration and fundraising will start on March 28, as reported.
Created for this purpose, in support of the global commitment to increase knowledge and raise funds to fight prostate cancer and promote men's mental health; the various details of the models, personalized and defined by hand, were designed and applied in the Triumph factory.
