Triumph is the main sponsor of the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride 2018

Triumph – For the fifth consecutive year, Triumph is the main sponsor of the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, the event that will see over 30 illustrious gentlemen, in over 120.000 cities around the world, ride their modern classic motorbikes wearing elegant clothes with the aim of raising funds and increasing knowledge on health-related issues on September 650th men, particularly on prostate cancer and men's mental health.

Distinguished Gentleman's Ride: what it is

The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride was born in Sydney, Australia, from the mind of Mark Hawwa who, inspired by a photo of Don Draper from the TV series “Mad Men” riding a modern classic motorbike and wearing his most elegant suit, decided to organizing a themed ride, arguing that it would be a great way to combat the often negative stereotypes related to motorcyclists and create a global motorcycling community. That first ride in 2012 brought together more than 2.500 riders in 64 cities. The success of the event encouraged the founder to think about how ride could serve a noble cause, bringing the event to the largest and most important cities around the world. The success has grown more and more every year and last year with over 94.000 participants in 92 countries they raised 4,85 million dollars to support charitable causes.

Triumph and Distinguished Gentleman's Ride: what is it

Triumph will play a fundamental role in this wonderful initiative aimed at the men's world and as main sponsor it has decided to make an important effort, offering three motorbikes from its catalog up for grabs to those who prove to be the three true gentlemen of the day. The person who makes the largest donation will receive a Thruxton R, the second a Bonneville Speedmaster and the third a Street Twin.
