Triumph Bonneville MY 2016 – Here is David Beckham in his first leading role astride the new Triumph Bonneville MY 2016. The new short film shot by Harvey Keitel for Belstaff was the opportunity for the British brand to officially reveal its new model.

The new short Outlaws briefly shows the new Bonnie around the 1,54 and 12,36 minute mark, moments that confirm what we saw two weeks ago in the promotional photos distributed by Belstaff. There is also confirmation that the radiator is water-cooled, unlike the current Bonneville. This new variant of the Triumph Bonneville does not, however, replace any existing model, but should stand above the Thruxton as a sportier version. The new Triumph Bonneville MY 2016 has decidedly avoided the completely retro style of the previous Bonnevilles, adopting modern Öhlins suspensions and Brembo radial brakes. According to some rumors, this new Triumph model could take the name of Street Tracker, a trademark already registered by the English brand, or Speed Twin.

IThe 2016 MY Triumph Bonneville's engine is expected to be more powerful than that of the current Bonneville, possibly 1100cc, although every prototype spotted so far has been recorded as having the same 865cc capacity as the existing model. However, the new model will certainly be more powerful and cleaner in lines thanks to its new design. While waiting to analyze it in more detail or to have the official specifications, let's admire it, even if only briefly, in the new short by Harvey Keitel which sees David Beckham as the protagonist of a film for the first time. How did the former champion fare in front of the camera? Judge for yourself.
