There are rumors about a future real Superbike that could soon come out of Triumph. Many have been waiting for a full-fledged Superbike from Triumph for a long time, given that the Daytona, from the first to the last model, has never been at the performance level of its competitors to be able to afford participation in a Superbike world championship, dedicating itself more to the pleasure of driving on the road. This is also why the Daytona has never received due attention in terms of research into improving performance and maximum power.

Now off the list since 2006, the Daytona is waiting for an heir, a true race machine which, in addition to offering the pleasure of driving on the road, may be able to debut in the Superbike World Championship. In the meantime, fueling the rumors about this new Triumph project were a series of private tests by the Hinkley company in which an 1198 was also noted, and a series of competing bikes, BMW and Honda Pan European, to examine the direct rivals before putting a new motorcycle on the market.

It is thought that the new Triumph Superbike could almost certainly have three cylinders under the frame and be configured as the house tradition dictates, like a motorbike with a mixture of plates and a trellis of large tubes, following the models currently on the market.
