TomTom Rider 550: motorbike navigation becomes smarter and faster

TomTom announced the creation of a new navigation device designed for motorcyclists. The TomTom Rider 550 it is equipped with new features that make it faster, smarter and even more connected.

New features include updates via Wi-Fi, very practical because they eliminate the annoying mess of cables to attach to the computer to update the device with TomTom services (World Maps, TomTom Traffic and Speed ​​Cameras) available for life. Once on the road, bikers can now appreciate the new quad-core processor, capable of ensuring higher performance and a smoother navigation experience, and interact with their smartphone via voice assistants Crab e Google Now. Furthermore, the navigator will be able to read messages received on the phone aloud via earphones. TomTom Road Trips is designed to help motorcyclists discover the best routes in the world. It offers the possibility to browse and select incredible routes, customize them and easily synchronize them with the TomTom RIDER 550. Furthermore, thanks to the TripAdvisor reviews that can be consulted on the MyDrive platform, every motorcyclist will be able to easily plan their adventure in every detail. As with other devices in the highly acclaimed TomTom RIDER line, users have the ability to plan and navigate the most exciting routes, from winding roads to hilly routes, selectable on the 4,3″ touchscreen that is sensitive to even the thickest gloves. Pre-sales will be available from mid-March.
