TomTom protagonist of Motor Bike Expo with VIO and RIDER

TomTom – TomTom brought its to the MOTOR BIKE EXPO VIO, the first scooter navigator connected to the smartphone. He is the younger brother of RIDER, the navigator that, for more than 10 years now, has made every motorbike trip unforgettable.

TomTom VIO and TomTom RIDER were great protagonists of the Motor Bike Expo 2017. TomTom VIO is a true revolution for scooter navigation. The circular touchscreen, which is sensitive even with gloves, acts as an extension of your smartphone, using the specially developed app as its brain. There will no longer be a need to take your smartphone out of your pocket while driving. The weatherproof display unit offers turn-by-turn navigation in both video and audio modes, via the helmet's dedicated Bluetooth® audio system. When a call comes in, the display shows the sender's identity so the driver can answer and speak freely via earphones while navigation remains active on the display.

It is a full-fledged navigator, equipped with a GPS sensor, therefore it is able to memorize a destination already reached. The drop-down menu that appears on the right of the display allows you to select one of the points of interest with a single touch, for example "home" or "work". TomTom's speed camera alert service is included. The attention to detail in the design is evident both inside and out, thanks to the interchangeable silicone covers available in six different colors. Furthermore, to always match, the color of the map can also be selected with a simple click on the app. The TomTom VIO is available at all selected retailers and on the official TomTom website at a cost of €169,90.

To choose the most adventurous routes, discover breathtaking views around the world and share your passion with friends, TomTom offers the RIDER 410, the navigator specifically designed for travel on two wheels. The launch of the TomTom RIDER 410 was an extension of the TomTom RIDER 400, presented in February 2015, and offers a series of new features, including free World Maps for life, route planning with TomTom MyDrive and identification of the best round trip route.

Riders can now find twisty roads more exciting, avoiding boring straights, simply by selecting how challenging the ride should be. THEThe navigator allows you to select three levels of curves and gradients, guaranteeing an adrenaline-filled journey. Furthermore, round-trip route planning allows the user to discover new itineraries simply by touching the area they want to explore on the map, defining a starting point and the areas to visit. A great innovation introduced in the TomTom RIDER 410 model is the possibility of planning the perfect trip before leaving using TomTom MyDrive. Users can create thrill rides on their PC before uploading them to their device via MyDrive.
