Tier: a new collaboration with Google Maps announced
Locating scooters and searching for information
A new collaboration between Animal e Google Maps to extend the possibility of access to the sharing micromobility service in seven Italian cities.
The news
The service is currently available at Roma, Milano, Bari, Palermo, Parma, Trento e Reggio Emilia and scooters represent agile and alternative means of moving in urban contexts. Tier will continue its expansion throughout the year in other Italian companies to offer a direct and sustainable mobility service.
Returning to the collaboration with Google Maps, under the cycling routes tab, users can find the button “TIER”. By clicking on it, Google Maps shows the Tier scooters available nearby, the walking distance and the charging status of the vehicles. To start a ride, users are redirected directly to the Tier app.
Users will therefore be able to locate the nearest Tier scooters and find useful information such as cost estimates and arrival times at their destination.
