THOR: purebred outsider by Pelpi International
After the Living 50 and the Revival, here is the new scooter that will be distributed from February 2013
The 50cc range of ABOUT US, brand distributed by Pelpi International, embraces different types of scooters. To the Living 50 with high wheels and rounded and vintage Revival, a thoroughbred outsider is added: the THOR.
We can consider it a bit of a "bad boy", equipped as it is with a 2-stroke engine that leaves traces of its passage and which allows you to sprint quickly at traffic lights. The Thor is a good starting point for track tuning, but if you are not interested in the various trophies dedicated to this engine capacity, it also promises rewards on city roads.
Looking at it up close you can't help but notice its sporting soul. The large 130 wheels on aggressive alloy rims, the braking system equipped with a hydraulic disc at both the front and rear, the grip of the aluminum footpegs, which resemble the controls of rally cars. And what about the geometry of the exhaust system? Similar to those used on racing scooters? The THOR muffler is obviously approved but does its part. The suspension is up to the task and the riding position is closer to that of
a motorcycle. Finally, the ground clearance allows safe turns without the risk of "scratching".
If the retail price is still being defined, it is certain release date: February 2013.
