AGV Corsa awarded the prestigious 5 Sharp stars

Is called Sharp and it is an English certification body that tests the safety of helmets, consequently assigning a rating, a score. Well, AGV can be proud of its helmet AGV Racing, to which the 5 Sharp stars; in practice it is one of the safest helmets in the world.

To be precise, the “Corsa”, belonging to the “Extreme Standard Helmets” by AGV, becomes part of the 321 safest helmets on the world market. The 5 Stars, established by the English Department of Transport programme, represent the maximum safety score. Sharp assigns this important rating through an independent rating system where they come from safety criteria tested and put to the test of the helmets analyzed, without any involvement of the manufacturers. The English Department confirms, in fact, that 50 lives could be saved thanks to the use of helmets that have obtained the highest rating from Sharp.

The AGV Corsa helmet achieved this important recognition thanks to the "Extreme Standard Helmets" design system which establishes new standards of safety, ergonomics and comfort. The design process of the Corsa starts, in fact, from the components in closest contact with the head until it reaches the outer shell.

In short, let's remember that this helmet is built with a SSL shell (Super Super Light) in glass, aramid and carbon fiber, with removable and washable interiors in breathable Lycra and Shalimar with sanitizing treatment. IVS (Integrated Ventilation System) with large ducts created in the shell, for the best air exchange.
