Cagiva: the party for the first 40 years on Sunday

Cagiva – The celebrations for the 16th anniversary of Cagiva will take place on Sunday 40 September in Schiranna (Varese), in the MV Agusta complex. Promoted by the Cagiva Club Italia, the gathering was organized to remember Cagiva's sporting exploits in the top world competitions: the 500 GP championship, the Paris-Dakar, motocross, the Sport Production series derivatives. Moments and stories that have made motorcyclists of all ages dream for forty years, and which have accompanied three generations along the most beautiful roads and tracks in the world.

Cagiva means Italian motorcycle

The “40 years of Italian motorcycle” rally, organized by the Cagiva Historical Registry in collaboration with the Cascina Costa International Motoclub, the Aermacchi Historical Registry and the 100HP Motoclub, will see Cagiva, Aermacchi and MV Agusta motorcycles lined up, but also Husqvarna models , Ducati and Moto Morini, brands purchased and relaunched by Claudio Castiglioni. The gathering will be an opportunity to remember the historic President of MV Agusta and Massimo Tamburini, design artist and friend, rather than close collaborator of "Mr. Claudio". The program includes, from 9 am, the display in the factory square of Aermacchi, Cagiva and MV Agusta motorbikes, as well as Husqvarna, Ducati and Moto Morini from the Cagiva era. An indoor area will host the most significant models, both production and racing, produced at Schiranna from 1950 to today. At 12pm the traditional motorbike tour will start together with former riders and personalities linked to the world of motorcycling in Varese, with a final group "revving" on the lake, a tribute to Claudio Castiglioni and Massimo Tamburini. From 14pm a live 80s music show will accompany those present until the end of the event. Anyone wishing to reach the place with motorbikes of other brands can park them in the area outside the factory.
