Terna adopts Pirelli's "CYCL-e around" project for the sustainable mobility of workers
Four ways of renting e-bikes
With the aim of encouraging the sustainable mobility of workers, Terna it is the first company in Italy to have adopted the e-bike sharing project “CYCL-e around” di Pirelli on a national scale.
The news
Four rental methods are proposed, according to the agreement between the company that manages the national transmission network and Pirelli.
“Working Time” provides for the use of e-bikes during the working day for work trips in urban areas; While “Home2Work” concerns daily home-office travel; then again “Smart Week” refers to the use of e-bikes for seven days in a row; In the end “Weekend Break” indicates the use of Pirelli bikes on weekends without mileage limits.
The e-bikes can be booked independently via an App made available on the company intranet, while the bicycle fleets will be available in established areas equipped for storage and maintenance, at Terna's offices.
Pirelli's "CYCL-e around" project represents a corporate sharing service, the availability of pedal-assisted bicycles that can be used by people who work in Terna's eight offices in Italy.
