Termignoni 4Uscite: design and technology for the Ducati Panigale V4

termignoni – After almost 50 together and 16 world titles won, the love story between them knows no end termignoni e Ducati which, on the contrary, is renewed with even more passion. This year, in fact, the Termignoni team, thanks to its great experience in Superbikes and under the guidance of Engineer Ernesto Marinelli, worked on the development of the most awaited system for the new super sports car of excellence, the Ducati Panigale V4.

The new project called 4Exits it contains all the essence and tradition of Termignoni design and represents a true revolution in the history of exhaust systems. Important bodywork parts have been integrated which complete a one-of-a-kind kit. The exhaust system was divided into two banks. THE front cylinders they feed the two low outlets, positioned on the right side and integrated with a titanium flange to the carbon half-fairing. THE rear cylinders instead they flow into the two undertail outlets which merge with the Panigale's tail with two lateral carbon appendages. This new layout is the reference result in terms of performance and, associated with the numerous carbon parts, represents a perfect combination of design with the Panigale V4. Performance and design that are expressed in an exhaust system characterized by the most exclusive materials and the most advanced workmanship, accompanied by top-of-the-range accessories essential for getting the most out of your V4. The 4Uscite exhaust system was designed as a racing system, with the aim of guaranteeing the better performance along the entire torque and power curve. The body parts were designed for integrate design with comfort of the pilot's guidance. The use of carbon fiber extends to all these components, starting from the two lateral half-fairings and then moving on to the right and left appendages of the undertail terminal, the right side heat shield, the protection under the tank and the mudguard/chain cover. The exhaust system is divided into two banks, the head attachments made from micro-casting have been designed to give the best fluid dynamic performance and join the gentle and harmonious curves of the pipe arrangement. In addition to the basic version with stainless steel tubes and titanium tips, the numbered full titanium version will also be available.

Le semi-hulls right and left, strictly in carbon, are equipped with extraction and intake air vents and blend with the unique lines of the bike. The right part integrates the two lower outlets which stand out from the muscular titanium flange which integrates the two outlet ports. The left side instead connects the lines and includes the opening for the standard side crutch. All the heat shields were made of carbon fiber with heat-emitting material integrated inside to provide greater shielding at high temperatures. The undertail silencer it is fixed to the rear subframe by an Ergal support machined from solid; it is characterized by the titanium shirt and the carbon end cap designed to blend perfectly with the design of the tail of the V4. To further improve performance, the Racing Spring Filter air filter, which has always been a leading accessory in the sector. The kit will also include the exclusive UpMap device equipped with mappings to best recalibrate the Panigale V4 control unit, in combination with the D182 system. At the same time as the release of the racing kit, integration with the road kit will also be available, including carbon fiber support for the license plate, light and indicators. The support supplied reuses the standard wiring, indicators and license plate light. 4Exits system provides  a power increase of the order of 6,5%.
