Team Beta Factory, another hat trick over the weekend

Team Beta Factory – With the Finnish GP the 2016 Enduro World Championship has reached the halfway point of its journey and the three riders of Team Beta Factory, Steve Holcombe, Johnny Aubert and Alex Salvini, this weekend all reached the podium in their respective classes, and also in the Enduro GP.

In Heinola, Finland, as usual the race was decidedly challenging and the three special tests really put the Team Beta Factory riders to the test. A classic Scandinavian Enduro Test inside a forest with rocks and roots, an extreme inside a motocross track with some artificial obstacles from the SuperTest on Friday evening and a challenging stone wall. As the third special test, a Cross Test much more similar to a reduced version of an Enduro Test but no less difficult. The Beta Factory Team riders were protagonists in the Finnish GP. Steve Holcombe won Day One in the E3 class, dominating it and taking the second step of the podium in the Enduro GP. "A weekend of two faces. On Day One I won the class and finished second in the Enduro GP. Today (yesterday, ed.) Unfortunately, however, I only scored a few points. Luckily, first place in E3 and third place in Enduro GP are still mine.” Holcombe said.

On Day 2 it was Johnny Aubert's turn who, despite having lost many seconds in the first Cross Test due to a fall, managed to come back from the back and, with extreme stubbornness, go on to win Sunday in the last special tests up for grabs. The Bolognese driver Alex Salvini concluded the Heinola weekend in the best possible way and, after coming close to the podium on the opening day, managed to take third place on the final day.
