TCX RT RACE, the new racing boot has a new design and an aggressive look

TCX RT RACE – RT-RACE is the new boot from the TCX racing line, a model with a new design and an aggressive look, suitable for road use but extremely high-performance even when used on the track.

The boot features a slimmer racing shape in the toe area and a new sole design. The precision fit and greater sensitivity while driving are favored by the presence of the Fasten Fit Control, an internal lacing system, connected to the lining of the boot through a high tenacity lace, which allows maximum wrapping of the upper to the foot. To further facilitate entry of the foot, the zip has been positioned externally and is combined with a panel in over-injected elastic material. To ensure a perfect closure of the boot in the shin area there is a micro-adjustable aluminum lever, with quick release, designed to adapt perfectly to the different anatomies of the calf. The upper, made of durable microfibre, is enriched by technical details such as the over-injection of elastic material in the front and side parts of the boot which define its precise and dynamic style; the internal lining is made of breathable AIR TECH material and features padding of differentiated thicknesses positioned in the ankle area to offer maximum comfort. RT-RACE is equipped with the new Double Flex Control system, a polyurethane joint positioned in the ankle area capable of offering optimal flexibility of the forward/backward joint.

The system is anchored to the boot cuff via two hidden screws positioned at the ankles. This special construction promotes front flexibility up to 14 degrees and, thanks to the presence of two fins that slide inside special pockets, controls the rear flexibility of the leg so that it does not exceed 13 degrees, thus avoiding possible trauma to the joint caused by the extension beyond its natural limits. Furthermore, there are PU reinforcements in the most vulnerable areas of the foot such as the tibia, ankle, toe and heel. An interchangeable rear slider in polyurethane, anchored to the heel, allows natural sliding on the asphalt in the event of a fall. RT-RACE is available in four different color variants and in a special WATERPROOF version. The sole is made of single-compound rubber and is perfectly integrated into the design of the boot to offer a better feeling of fit. The new tread is characterized by differentiated zones designed to guarantee a higher level of grip on the pedal and greater freedom of movement while riding. The safety of this boot is CE certified according to the criteria of the new EN 13634:2015 regulation.
