SYM Mamba 160: the new scooter with a gritty spirit [PHOTO]

The range is growing scooter with the crossover soul of SYM which, after the ADX, launches Mamba 160 (whose commercial name is MMBCU).

The new scooter from the Taiwanese brand has a look that recalls the appearance of the snake whose name it bears, with full LED headlights and position lights that evoke the eyes of the Mamba, the rear light that takes up the shape of the fangs and the texture The chromatic color of the color-changing shield has a texture that recalls the scales present on the skin of the snake. 

158 cc single-cylinder engine

The SYM Mamba 160 combines sportiness and comfort, with a large saddle pad and a flat footboard. The choice of engine is singular, with SYM which will market the scooter in Europe with a 158 cc single-cylinder with a power of 11,5 kW (15,6 HP), a type of displacement popular on Asian markets, less so on Western ones. 

The SYM Mamba 160, which has compact dimensions measuring 1.990 mm in length and with a lateral dimension of 740 mm, it has 13-inch wheels with a full ABS braking system. The seat has a ground clearance of 803 mm from the ground, while the dry weight is 136 kg.

The suspension department benefits from a monoshock at the rear, while the on-board equipment offers Start&Stop, traction control, USB 3.0 socket and LCD lighting with optimal display for both day and night. The SYM Mamba 160, available in four colours, is offered on the Italian market at €3.799 ex dealer.
