Don't be fooled by the name. Jet 14 is a Jet only in words also because the regulations do not leave much room for maneuver for engineers. The idea of ​​being on board a maxi scooter that you have at first glance is abandoned when you get on board. From this position, in fact, you can appreciate the sleek lines and the essentiality of the controls. Everything is under control and at your fingertips. The instrumentation is the right mix of analogue and digital and provides all the information you need in daily use: speed, engine rpm, fuel level (the tank has a capacity of 7,5 litres), total kilometers travelled. and partial. The distribution is single shaft, the seat height is 800mm and the weight is quite low (128 kg dry). The Jet 14 is fitted with a Tubeless front tire measuring 100/90-14, while at the rear a Tubeless 110/80-14. The braking system is made up of a 260 mm diameter disc at the front, which acts with the CBS combined braking system, together with the rear disc. We remind you that there are 2 versions of the Jet 125, this one with a liquid-cooled engine and a second with air, which also differs in the rear drum brake. The riding potion is correct. A man of average height can stay on board for a long time without ever tiring his arms and legs which have plenty of space available on the front footboard which can easily accommodate a generously sized backpack, a bag or a gym bag (the hook central is robust and safe). Despite the absence of a real peephole, the shoulders are quite protected and only at the highest speeds are some small turbulences felt. Nothing, fortunately, that disturbs driving. The suspensions are a little stiff and this affects the comfort of the passenger, who is a little stressed when encountering, for example, a pothole or a bump. However, the seat is comfortable, the well-padded saddle and the rear handles allow a firm grip. The underseat contains only one full-face helmet because the space must be shared with the petrol tank.
