SWM Motorcycles – After the preview presentation at the EICMA in Milan, the time has finally arrived for the RS 125 R and SM 125 R: the two latest creations from SWM Motorcycles are designed for younger motorcyclists and capable of reviving their passion for sports motorcycles.

Top performance and reliability at the highest levels: these in short are the peculiarities of the two new Euro 4 approved Enduro and Supermotard, designed and developed at the SWM Motorcycles production site in Biandronno (Varese). Agile, light and agile, the RS 125 R and SM 125 R retain the structural, technical and aesthetic characteristics of their "big sisters" RS 300 R, RS 500 R and SM 500 R, thus giving younger people the chance to "dream big". The design is sharp and bold, with a strong personality capable of instilling the pleasant sensation of "thrill" without sacrificing sturdiness, to have fun safely even for two. Both models, in fact, are approved for driving with a passenger, and consumption is among the lowest in the category.

The performance and reliability of the RS 125 R and SM 125 R are guaranteed by the 4 cm125 liquid-cooled single-cylinder 3-stroke engine with double overhead camshaft "DOHC", equipped with electronic injection and 6-speed gearbox. The 125 models benefit from the same technology as the company's 300 and 500 models, which is the same used by the 450 SM 2017 Racing which races in the World, European and Italian Supermoto Championships.

Much care and attention is paid to the chassis, where the double-cradle single-spar frame is the same used by the bigger sisters and also equips the SM 450 Racing 2017! The telehydraulic fork with upside-down legs and advanced pivot, and the progressive "Soft Damp" hydraulic mono shock absorber, give the rider a great feeling. The CBS braking distribution combined with the 260 mm diameter front disc brake used on the RS 125 R, and the 300 mm one mounted on the SM 125 R guarantee powerful and modular braking for maximum safety in every situation. The rims are 21 inches at the front and 18 at the rear for the Enduro version, while for the Supermoto they are both 17 inches.

The RS 125 R and SM 125 R, both available in Red/White and Black/White liveries, are designed to emphasize the aggressive and sporty lines typical of their design.
